My Dad bought me a 84 new and we still have it. I am in the process of restoring to mint original. This Bike still kicks over and I never did anything to the motor. These bikes were the Best hands down. Hold their value too. A restored original can go for 3000.00
I have a 1979 and it looks similar, but just got it and would like to make it also road worthy. I would like to put a headlamp and rear brake and turn signals . Did you happen to document and video everything as you were doing it?
