Big Emergency response to building collapse Leeds

Fire TOC 16.07
Called by West Yorkshire Police to assist with a building collapse on Kirkgate in Leeds.
several crews in attendance including;
2 crews from Leeds
1 crew from Hunslet
The technical rescue team from Cleckheaton including the Prime Mover unit USAR and search dog
The aerial ladder appliance from Wakefield.
After search of building proved to be no injuries and scene was handed over to Police and local council.

These buildings in the Calls have always been in a poor state of repair, I know some are historic and I am in favour of conservation but when they start collapsing the City of Leeds needs to take action.
