There’s a reason. He has a light with pressure pad and an NGAL. On an sbr or pistol with a short rail the pressure pad and NGAL won’t fit with room for your hand to grab the rail well. So you leave the pressure pad on the rail and now you have to use a riser for the NGAL but just a riser for the NGAL would block the Eotech so you also have to put the eotech on a riser. Basically, what it all comes down to is rail space.

Ive got a few friends that were in the sf. They give ne good info on how to set up my truck gun and my home defense gun. Both are very similar to yours, when clearing rooms bright light is better than laser sight.
