Clark was gonna start his training in Season 7 but Lana interfered with that by showing up Clark was gonna to kiss Lois almost but Lana interfered again. But also In Season 7 Lana wanted clark to become that he was meant to be but Clark was to much in love with Lana to do it
Also one of the most triggering, I literally got sick to my stomach and was depressed for most of the day. I've been healing from a Narcissitic relationship and that is what this episode felt like the high and then low of being in one. It just triggered similar feelings I had while involved with that.
Sumalicious the fact that he’s strong and powerful enough to make a diamond and engagement ring with zero money is what makes him humble. To know he can make someone that’s valuable and could possibly make him rich. He decided to help man kind instead
True love, yes? Meant to be? No... they had separate destinies.. and were lucky to have other loves just as great... though not as well developed for the show...
@M Smith Because Clark & Lois are set in stone you try to force Clark & Lana as the main couple which this show didn't help matters & the fans would tune out in droves Clark is meant to be with Lois. Even in the comics Lana was obsessed with Clark she named her son after him she married Pete because she couldn't have Clark which ended in her divorce & her ex husband calling their son butch or Buster because his ex wife was still in love with her old love. She tried to break up his marriage to Lois, she got told off by Clark's mom Martha that she walked away from her son & that she needs to move on & find someone else. All in all who would want Lana if every guy she shacks up is not Clark Kent?
Anyone else watch the talkville podcast every Wednesday with Tom and Michael it’s episode slumber it’s a fun podcast sometimes they call one of the creators to ask them questions about the episode
Come on Clark and Lois never had this much chemistry Smallville is suppose to be about Clark and not Superman I will forever ship #clana they have beautiful chemistry
If I was Clark, I would've helped thousands, if not millions of people, and made a ton of money doing it, in order to develop charitable foundations. Clark's parents aren't morally superior, they just let their morals cripple their intelligence. There's a big difference.
Big mistake,Clark. He learnt a valuable lesson in the end, despite his hopes and feelings for Lana. Very well performed scene by Tom and Kristin. I was really disappointed Kristen's character was killed off later in the show (Sorry for the spoiler) and felt she could have still proved a loyal and priceless ally for Clark. Personally,I thought that was a big mistake. I still miss the show though. :)
After season 2 they basically forget the plot line that his arrival killed her parents. That's was part of the reason why she specifically couldn't be told, the meteor shower changed her life in such a dramatic Negative way. And then it's all forgotten and just becomes Clark being secretive even most of the cast knows, he still is being extra secret with Lana with no mention of parents at all.
LOVE the coloring and the high quality of the scene ... one can notice every single emotion on their face. Long live Clana ♥ Best proposal in TV history ♥ Clanaholic, are you and "Jenzig" the same person?
Why didn´t cast Kristin to play Lois instead it´s a bit sad Kristin plays the most lovable character in the series but Lana end losing what she wants most
I think the writers at the beginning of Smallville figured that they would be writing about Clark Kent in his pre-Lois teenage years. Lana was his high school girlfriend/damsel in distress. They just never dreamed that the show would go on for a decade. They probably figured on 3 season (if they were lucky). So instead of writing a kind of disconnected story about Superman, before he became Superman, where Lana and Lois didn't have to meet or compete. They ended up having to transition from freshman year of high school to the Daily Planet. If they had know from the beginning that they would have to cover that story arc, I think they probably would have written Lana a kittle differently. They wrote Lana as the love of his life. But in the long arc of the story, they probably should have written her, and Clark's connection to her, a little lighter and saved the "love of his life" writing for Lois. But as it was written, it seemed like Clark's only real impediment with Lana was not telling her about his secret. If they ever got over that hurdle, they could get married and start picking out furniture and curtains.
@@NestorJoseGomez They couldn't. Its canon that Clark ends up with Lois. Without Lois, he would never become the Superman we all know and love. Lana was only a high school sweetheart, and a very fleeting one. They made her out to be a big deal, which she never was. I do like Lana too, and then especially the actress behind her, but the writing for her in the end became a clusterfuck of stupid. They had nowhere to go with her, as Clark transitioned to Lois. At that time, they figured they would give her a sendoff, which was another extremely stupid idea with the whole kryponite suit and all.
The original story is that none of this have happened.. Atleast theyve twist it really good and im really pissed that lana is so beautiful and i know they wont be together what ever happens.
No matter how much pressure you apply to a lump of coal, if you're applying it with a hand-shaped device, it won't come out looking like a cut diamond. Also, it takes a lot more time than that for the carbon atoms to settle down into a crystal structure. It should have come out of his hand as an extremely hot glassy lump. Finally, cooling it down by convection that fast would have required a much stronger wind than was shown, and would have resulted in thermal stresses sufficient to make the lump shatter. Still, for a woman that beautiful, I'm willing to ignore a few minor impossibilities.
@@michaelmallory2926 I accept as given that, in-universe, he has the powers he's described as having. He can certainly exert enough pressure to convert a lump of coal into diamond. I'm merely pointing out that his described powers aren't sufficient to justify this result.
Clark acted so uncharacteristically moronic in this episode, I'm inclined to believe that the only reason this episode was made was to kill off Johnathan and break up Clark and Lana, so that Clark could be available for Lois Lame.
The episode where Lana should've been written out of the show for good. Got nothing against Kristin Kreuk, it's just the direction they take Lana as a character after this was trash
It's nonsense. The viral video that you can put a piece of hot coal into peanut butter and after some time it will turn into a diamond-like crystal of comparable size.
This series was way back higjschooldays.. Im now 32 and I still clearly remember the whole series.. one of a lifetime ..

Lana was okay in the start but when she interrupted his training and prevented Clark and Lois’ kiss, she started become a pain in the a$$
One of the most beautiful episodes of this show. Ahhh, brings back nostalgia ♥️

to show her his abilities through making her an ENGAGEMENT ring,,, how can it get any BETTER than this

Wolfeyesi when i was a teenager watching this series i was frustrated lana left the show or her character was cut short.
still say that clark and Lana were much better than Lois and clark
helll no but i respect your opinion
FACTS 💯💯💯
Amen to that
Kristin Kreuk is absolutely stunning!
Clark's parents were struggling with the farm. He could have created diamonds to sell and saved them
They would have said no. Bc it goes aganst their morals and how they want to raise clark
Ah well he handled it well
