- Best-of-5 series of top level StarCraft 2 between Maru (Terran) and Ragnarok (Zerg). This series was played as part of the Korean StarCraft League (KSL) Summer Slam. In this match Maru controls the pace of the game brilliantly, as he forces Ragnarok to make decisions he would have rather not made.

Your 12 year old storry about Maru reminds me of time back in stone ages when WOTLK was rocking my world (World of Warcraft). Damn i played that game 15h/day, well we were quite "profesional" clan back than, and our best mage, (server best mage) was just some 8 year old kid. But boy did he mage balled those fire spells around.

Question for Lowko what computer type do you use for StarCraft 2 ? Windows ? A customer gamer pc?
everytime i see roaches vs bio, the bio absolutly slaughters the roaches. but when i say that in comments, people say roaches counter the bio cause of their high armor. and im like... well, that for roaches only attack like every 2 secounds xD. till the roaches kill 16 marines, 16 roaches got gunned down.

I wish i never gave up playing SC1 and brood wars when i was 12 i was very good but it was a very different game but then became a teenager ans playing video games was not a good luck back in 1999. I remember in 98 and 99 blizzard kept promising SC2 will be released very veey soon

Yah know I'm really disappointed that the first units for Terran have a devastating advantage in the form of RANGE... while Zerg and Protoss only have Melee as their early units. Having that range on Marines is insane and kind of lopsided against Zerg especially, lings and banes move as fast as a marine but require close range to do damage... aaaaand then there's Stim Pack, Zerg with 50 lings and 30 banes stands ZERO chance against 15-20 Marines reasonably spread out... and let's not forget the STUPID early Terran access to Siege units while Zerg needs late game tech for their first Siege units... >_>
It's always been a nitpick of mine going all the way back to SC1/BW... I get that the swarmy aspect of Zerg and the shield aspect of Protoss help offset the imbalance of attack ranges for Ling, Zealot, Marine but still I'm not a fan, it's such a massive handicap for Terran players...

7mins you say overall skill back then was lower, And yes at the complete high level of pro play, But its sad. In HoTS, Diamond and Masters players were MUCH better than nowadays Diamonds and masters. Legit, Silver players back in HoTS Could EASILY be masters now in LOTV lmao.
