I made the mistake of riding with Len on his "Urban Offroad" tour once. Hard to believe that was in a Commander. Now if only the X3 came in a 4 seater.

Going from a 29" to a 32" gains you 1.5" of extra clearance not a few inches.

On which facts are you basing your comments on?
Steve Houghton I believe on the facts of their suspension is almost a direct copy of the rzr.. And the 3 cylinder being in the Yamaha.. It's pretty obvious what he meant..
Trailing arms were an obvious choice for the X3 for many reasons (i.e: 24" travel) and trailing arm was not invented by Polaris btw. The 2 cylinders could have been the choice for the X3, but we already had a good 3 cylinders that could be fitted with a Mitsubishi turbo (which has been issue less up to yet...unlike Polaris!!). And what about this comment about the cheap fit and finish?? Man...go see the vehicle up close and compare to others and we may come with a change in opinion on that matter. The X3 has pushed some strong elements further like BRP always do, with a very good result. So...wanna be?? Not sure about that!! The proof...the production volumes keep on increasing and we have long time Polaris onwers coming knocking on our door!!! We know Polaris and Yamaha will replicate. We do benchmark with them and they do the same with us. It is a fair battle, good for the global business and the customers benifit from this on going race to the top!
Steve Houghton The X3 is derivative.. They said hmm the trailing arms are killing it on the rzr.. Our virtual 3 link sucks.. And the 3 cyl yamaha is great for high rpms.. Let's use our 3 cylinder.. To I didn't say they invented the trailing arms.. And I'm not saying the fit and finish are bad.. Never said that.. I think the fit and finish is as good as any other sxs.. But to say it's an original idea by brp is not true.. It's derivative..
Whatever the case, The X3 cleans house by a large margin ...
