Brad was a close musical friend when we were both in our teens. He died too young in 1987. How fantastic to hear his musical brilliance in this recording.
That's probably true for many other of Brad's recordings. Had he lived another decade or two, I'm sure his ealry recorded legacy would have segued into the digital realm, not to speak of what else he would have produced in the interim. Thanks for uploading this album.
And have you come across any recordings of Brad playing recorder? He was an outstanding recorder soloist in his younger years. I recall well his 1968 recorder concert with Wolfgang Bottenberg (1930-2018) on harpsichord at Acadia University, Nova Scotia. www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/wolfgang-bottenberg-emc
@@andrewanddewi966 I still have the Vol 1 Box (and Vol 2 with Rolf Junghanns) of Original Instruments in the series Das alte Werk by Telefunken, but the quality of the organ music was with lots of licks beyond repair.
