My wife and are in the process of shopping for a bumper pull bunkhouse trailer for our family of 4. Our teenagers are both autistic having a separate room is huge for them! Your videos showing all the bunkhouses has been an ENORMOUS help. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us all that was at the show, it has helped us narrow down our choices as we will be pulling our new full time home with a Ford Expedition. We want as big and as lite as possible while staying around 6000 lbs. We live your videos and hope to see you guys out on the road soon!
I love love love that you keep the model name and number in the video for the whole tour. It is SO helpful. Also, I have to say that while bunkhouses may be a niche market I really appreciate that you are doing all of these. I am in the market for a bunkhouse and they are incredibly difficult to find in our RV shows. P.s. I know you dislike those long couches in place of a dinette but...guess who loves them? ME! Wait till your kids get a bit older and the idea of fitting 4 of you at one of those "tables" is a joke
We're happy to help! Bunkhouses really are under-represented at shows and we don't know why. I think the market is shifting a bit so hopefully they'll start showing up more in the coming years.

It was my last day of leave before coming back to Afghanistan but we actually bought the Avalanche 396BH mainly because it gives our son his own room and bathroom. Lots of awesome RVs there, I was pleasantly surprised and happy to be able to get carnival food without the Carnival lol. Reminds me of our earlier years. We had a 34 ft bunkhouse we bought new in 1988. It had 3 bunks in the back and served us well. When the kids grew up, we took out the bunk and put in a king bed. We looked at a new Diesel Pusher that bunkhouse with 2 baths, for taking grandkids. $850K. I jokingly tell people we have a 45' DP that sleeps 2. It does have a sleeper sofa.
So fun to watch this! We just went to the Fort Worth show a few weeks back and didnt dee some of these. The *most* helpful part for us was seeing the rigs thru your experienced eyes... the things you guys picked up on and paid attention to. We are headed to look at rigs as we speak...narrowing down the field! Can't wait to watch part 2 tonight!

I wish more rv brands would start with the white cabinet trend. I’ve been a keystone fan for awhile now and when u walked into the premier and I saw the white cabinets I was so excited lol. I just watched part 2 & 3 of this video and it was so good. I love y’all videos. I hope y’all have an “interesting” but amazing day lol

If I could take one or two elements from each of these and combine them, I would have the perfect RV. Unfortunately, it is hard to find one that has everything you want. LOVE looking with you, though.
We looked at the 2020 32FWBH, we liked the floor plan, did not care for the construction. The doors you opened seemed more solid, but when closing, they sound thin, but at least didn't rattle like the ones we saw. Too bad you didn't get to see the Arctic Wolf 298BH or 3660SUITE. Awesome floor plans and really well made cabinets.
If I had to pick out of these models, it would probably be Avalanche 379BH. The rest had not much storage, and the sound of a lot of those cupboard doors drove me nuts. I actually like your GD layout best, compared to these any of these. Great video guys, really enjoyed the tour of these. Looking forward to Part 2!
We have yet to find another bunkhouse that we like as much as our 312. There are plenty of floor plans out there that are good for various reasons, but this one is really hard to beat! 👍😁👍
Those huge destination models aren't meant to be moved a lot and we like to travel! They're super cool though and really feel like a condo. The kids would love a loft like that for sure.
The last one was my favorite for living in, but not necessarily for travel. After seeing these, we still really love our Winnebago bunkhouse. We have the bunk that lowers down over the front driving area, mid bunks, and we LOVE having a second (half) bath. Seven of us, one a 13 year old teen. It's fun to see what's new out there. Looking forward to seeing what else you found.
Seven in a Class C?! Sounds real cozy! 😋 Which model is it? We checked out a few Winniebagos at the show (but those aren't until the 3rd Bunkhouse Bonanza episode) and probably went in yours.
We have a Class A. 2017 Winnebago Visita LX 35B, it has been the perfect fit for our family. Tow, storage capacity, tank capacity, lots of good storage, and sleep capacity (8-10), all in 37 ft. which had been perfect for full-time travel. If we were long term stationary, I'd prefer a Grand Design. We can't affordably get a truck to hold 7 people, and wouldn't even be practical. We are able to comfortably tow our minivan.
Very nice! Truck size is definitely a limiting factor. We all crammed into our truck for the first year but this year Erin is driving her van while I tow the rig. That gives us a bunch more space and flexibility for the kids and the dog. We do love the idea of traveling in the rig though and having couches, tables, the kitchen... Erin and I would definitely be in a Class C if we had fewer (or no) kids!
@@Five2Go that is A DEFINITE plus that I always forget to mention. We wouldn't get anywhere with all the potty break we would be making. I love that the kids can go anytime and we can grab snacks all on the go! We can travel a lot of miles before needing to stop. Love, love, love that part!
We definitely make a lot of potty stops too, but ours take a bit more effort than in a motorhome. It's still way better than stopping at random gas stations in the middle of nowhere! 🤣
Loved this video, we have the 2021 version of the keystone 3570fwlft, we only have 1 little one so we really like the separate room. He can have toys out an its contained to his room, as far as the cabinet space in the kitchen it was a compromise I juat use the top cabinets in the little room which isn't a huge deal for us.
Those destination models are awesome, but the one drawback (other than their size) is that they're really not meant to be moved around a lot. They're really impressive though.
Half way through and loving your video, I just wish you would pause on the price on everyone so we had a rough idea, prices range so much... if the one I like was $30k and the one I loved a lot was $50,000, I would probably still buy the $30k one... Can't wait to finish watching the video and you might just have a new subscriber... 😁
We don't linger on prices for a couple reasons. First, RV prices at shows are going to be lower than normal. Second, an RV here in Colorado is going to be one price, and in California it'll be another, and in Florida it'll be another. If you're interested in one of the models you really have to look at nearby dealers. We've seen prices vary by 10-20k before!

I really like the last one withthe double lofts!! Since you guys own a rv, can you actually attach a dresser or shelving to the walls without completely damaging them? I wouldn't want them moving down the road.
Thanks for the reviews. Can we get more coverage of kid comfort? Terra climbed a ladder and no coverage of if it was easy to onto the loft or awkward. Though the times you kind of acknowledged her we saw Terra didn’t like the head room. So, more headroom in the kid area manufacturers!
We've tried to get information like that out of her before, but you know how kids are - "it's fine" "yep" "it feels ok" 😂 Headroom is definitely a concern though! We're going to get back out to dealerships soon, and hopefully the Tampa show in January, and start looking at the 2021 models and we'll try and get some useful information out of Terra for you guys.
One super important bit of information missing. For those of use that have older teenagers, weight limits for the bunks would help. Also would help if you want to have another couple/family stay with you.

We didn't cover the prices of the RVs at the show for two reasons - first, show prices are lower than you'll get at dealers and second, RV prices vary a LOT depending on where you're buying. We could have said one of these was listed for 35k but at the dealer outside the show it could have been 40k, and then in a different region it could be 45k. RV pricing is really weird like that. Your best bet is to check dealers local to you or hop on RVTrader.com to see models and prices near you.
They typically would've I'd think but they spent a few days doing this and several hours. I'd imagine waiting would add alot more time on top of the hours they spent doing this.

396BH unless you can remove the stairs in the back bath so you don't have to open and drop stairs. Some have pins that let you remove them.
