Parents today have it so great; we didn’t have smart phones for instant video when my son was a baby 27 years ago. I had a gigantic RCA video recorder that used VHS tapes to record, and weighed a ton. You had to rest this thing on your shoulder, and sometimes you had to plug it into the wall if the battery wasn’t charged. By the time my son was five, I bought one of those small handheld recorders, but those weren’t around very long, so it was difficult to play the micro VHS tapes that had to be placed inside of a big VHS tape in order to be played on a VCR. I would usually just plug the thing into the back of the TV and watch videos that way. I have no idea where that stuff is today.
What a video! Not only is this visually exciting, but the poetry of the lyric, especially the rhymes, are wonderful for the development his young mind. This is a pure joy to watch and hear.
I bought Flappy for two babies-my friends great nephew and my great niece. I haven’t seen my niece with him yet, but my friends nephew loves him! My niece is only one and a half months old so it might be awhile before I see her with him!
