The kb single arm walks.. I’m guessing your holding bell with the ball closer to ground than handle opposed to ball closer to ceiling ( like you’d hold for shoulder stability drills!
I need to work on my right arm, it doesn't lock out like my left. So I have one arm straight and another arm bent and a barbell slightly tilting overhead. lol
Hard to explain but should the spilt jerk be just straight, or should your legs be spread out and in a diagonal direction. Also is there anyway to improve elbow mobility, like how much you can lock out your elbows
Depends on the person. Szymon Kołecki had a split jerk where his feet just went straight backwards and forwards, like if you were balancing on a beam, let's say. Whereas other lifters like Ilya, for example, have a more noticeable outward movement of the feet in the receiving position of the split. Try both for some time and see which feels more natural to you.
Great vid lads. Do you guys have a program to improve your jerk specifically? Can the sika press program be adapted for this purpose instead of using it for the strict press, push press, bench press?
In terms of Berestov and Klokov - they both had serious injuries. Berestov had an elbow injury and Klokov had a shoulder injury. So their impressive strict press and push press is the way to compensate their issues. Otherwise they both admitted, it's not necessary to press big weights for massive C&J.
If you don't pretend to snatch and C&J at random times throughout the day you should just quit weightlifting imo.
lmao, I do this shit all the time
Bro same
Genuinely feel like this goes for every kind of athletic (or even otherwise) endeavor.
Ilya does air cleans when he's waiting for the bus no joke
@@thecrystaltide3757 lol, I hope there's footage of this
Holy moly, the lords of Sikastan made a full video on my question. Very much appreciated!
great question! I have problems with my lockout also
Fuck it, I'm gonna blow up my press, no regrets. All hail Sikastan all hail *THE PRESS*
That’s the athletic movement, not THE MEDIA for those following at home
“A larger margin for error” might be the most Irish string of words in existence.
"Three hundred and thirty three men thought that turkeys where the target" would probably contend
Gabriel's split jerk is an absolute monster that man makes the bar levitate and float into that amazing lock and catch position damn booooooy
This is great, my jerk lockout is easily the weakest part of my technique overall, hopefully upping my press will make me more consistent.
Just changed the game for my time cooking in
the kitchen when I'm waiting for the oven, pasta or rice. Thanks guys
can you do a video on which lifters have the most efficient clean and jerk and snatch technique and why so
Klokovs 225 push press is glorious 🥺

feet should land slightly wider in the split than they were in the dip and drive
