This building was beautiful in the 70s and still in the 90s. It doesn't look as spectacular now during renovation. I remember the exterior shining, reflecting light spectacularly.
There is no way this construction took place without advanced technology. Expert craftsmen and specific machinery would have been needed. Thanks for your time and efforts. cheers!
All other things aside, the "Court House" (Read: "Castle") is a truly stunning building, really beautiful, we don't build cool stuff like this much, outside of Theme Parks...
The copper flashing and the wrought iron on top of these structures would provide energy for the building and a gentle Glow. The beauty of the millennial Kingdom.
Cool video. Since you're in Texas, you should check out Hopkins County courthouse. The first one burned down and the one we have now took 1 year to construct in 1894-95. It's a pretty cool courthouse and you can see the famous glass bathrooms we have on the square that the courthouse sits on.
All the puzzle pieces are coming together. We Pilgrims need to continue to put the puzzle together. I am getting far past doubting that HE already came and set up His 1-K-year kingdom, and His judges were keeping peace & ministering to the remnant of unbelievers before He and His kingdom left for the short season that we are possibly near the end of... He left lots of clues for us. Is this VERY EXCITING of what?! Thank You Again !
It’s quite amazing all around the US, these square small towns with courthouses in the middle, are almost identical. Everywhere I go seems exactly like the one close to me and what you are showing. Same blueprint everywhere.
Beautiful buildings both; great exploration! The freemason cornerstone looks like it could have been engraved long after the original building was FOUND ed. Jesus said a thief comes only to STEAL, kill and destroy. Satan's minions can only alter and mimic the beautiful handiwork done through Jesus' followers.
imagine trying to get fire insurance for your stone building in the early 1900's... such risky structures! 😅 the more and more i see the more the stones look like precast..
During the 1970s, my father's office was inside this courthouse and my mother ran a shop on the square. The high school football stadium at the time had been dug out of a hill, producing a berm around the field. At a young age, I dug in the berm and collected fossilized gastropods and cephalopods, including large sections of ammonites, and a large fossilized oyster with both valves (shells) intact. I verified the findings with several researchers and shared my findings with anyone interested. The collection was eventually stolen. I wasn't taught it in school, but I've known since I was a kid that Decatur, Texas was covered at least one time by sea water.
The upper construction seems like a different phase than the lower construction. Like it was added on some time in the past. It's fancier but doesn't seem to have the same quality. Also, the windows at ground level have a stone/cement sill that doesn't match the other construction. Clearly it was added later.
First question.....Which of your videos do you talk about Canthus....?? Second the word Canthus is the corner of the eye where the upper and lower eyelids meet.......There is a plant called Acanthus which is the same as canthus but with a A...Which seems to have medical properties......They must have thought a lot of this plant to make it part of the building.......Thanks
Polish down one of the rocks, call it the cornerstone, slap your logo on it and claim it as your own. Such a disgrace.... (but I do believe they built that square pile of bricks across the street.)

the janky air conditioner hanging out of this building is both sad and hilarious
Your work is absolutely needed and appreciated. All the best to you and yours my friend 🙏

As I watched this I couldn't help but think 'masonic misdirection'...then you showed the corner stone.
Great 👍👍, greetings from 🇳🇱 the Netherlands
Great up close work again. Looking forward to your next one explaining those designs.
Your videos inspired me to look around my local area in Massachusetts and find some incredible structures and buildings
Great video! I really appreciate your work 😊

Stunner

Can't wait to watch tonight ❤still working in California
Thanks for the great video I live in Washington State now but I was born in Texas in 1962.
Great work thank you
This is how nearly every single house looks in the northeast as well

I bet you they were no more than 1500 years old. Were being lied to how fast fossils can form especially in sediment and underwater
@@RustyShakleford1 I appreciate your comment.
Thanks good buddy , I'm loving your work over here in the UK , keep on truckin 👍👍

Right up the road in Montague Texas is another old “courthouse “!
I noticed a raaised man hole in the street by the mansion. Wonder if tunnels run straight to the courthouse

It's Acanthus and that video is coming soon...and yes it's held in the highest regard.
i wish u could get in, ive snuck in to spots before like clocktowers and the top of the madison capitol. unique view
Now I want to see the inside
It’s sad you made it after the other building burning down that was like those two. It was just down the street. It was the Wise County Museum
I wonder who lived in that house and if they had some sort of connection to the courthouse!? It’s all so scary and interesting 😫👍🏼
You should google it. The Waggoner Mansion
They don't build them like they use to!! And no one can copy or make something like that again
Sounds like what NASA said about another moon mission
@@brentrenouf7127😂😂😂
Did the donkeys cut the stones to perfect fit as well?
the masonic building in my home town has a much older dating system on it's face plate going back to the times of solomon
👍✝️
Donkeys Incorporated!
J895?
Donkeys.
🤣
That clock looks like it doesn't belong there... I think it was put there later 😮it looks cheap made
There was a remodel in the 60s but they are restoring everything as much as possible to the original state
The bricks are do perfectly square
In authentic Old world clocks numeral 4 is IIII and not the IV (which does not make any sense. IV)

The amount of ads is sad and hillarious.
it was ordered from LOWES just like today all precut same mortar looking stuff and outside surface
