@thomasrc6445 had to cut a some of the bracket that holds the battery on as it was to small a frame to slide it in so a just left the battery on the bike all the time

What are the specs for your friends eBike ? Is it rear engine ? Also what battery does he use? How many ah?
It was my old bike its a 48v 17ah battery with a 1500w rear hub
