- In this video, my welder bailed, so the cage isn't welded, but I reinstall the body so I can start lining up the taillights and other parts. Enjoy!

You probably lost a main ground and your not getting fire. Your ECU needs a really good ground and now that you cut up so much of the body you're having ground issues.

Check the camshaft sensors and their wiring/connectors. Had one a couple weeks ago, with a bad connectors on the drivers side, symptomized as a crank with no start.
You will need to grind the back of the fiberglass to thin it out. You can thin it to 1/8 " and use a washer to mount.

Have you tried changing the camshaft sensors? There should be 2, one for each bank.
Have you checked the engine immobilizer? Looks like it could have kicked in and disabled starting. Maybe main unit unplugged or one at the ignition lock that's supposed to read the chip in the key?
Try connecting a obd2 port and check
Cant you pop the headlights in from the inside without chopping them up?

Are you going to relocate your battery?? - look into that before you mount your body. Also when playing with the exhaust options remember there will be a new gas line and breather line running down right where old rear muffler used to sit. . . . lay rubber gas hose over hot metal not really a good option.
Yes I’ll be relocating the battery, I didn’t even think about the heat of the exhaust mixed with a rubber hose... I’ll have to figure out some way to insulate to be safe

Yeah it was kinda disappointing, I was hopeful to get this cage welded up so I can move along with the build
just an idea but maybe the fuel pump or fuel pump relay are bad. If you turn the key do you hear it run for a second?
I checked the fuses and relays, they’re all good, I don’t hear the fuel pump priming so might be a bad pump, I’ll be testing with a voltage meter to make sure it’s getting power to see if it’s a bad pump or just not getting power
He mentioned he sprayed starter fluid into intake. That should've bypassed need for any fuel delivery... Prolly spark issue, never said was getting spark, just that did something with spark plugs... I'm sure he'll figure it out... Gr8 work!
How stiff is the entire rollcage Assembly?, like can the roof support the body? just incase, safety measures you kno, you don't wanna ride in a tent
super stiff - when welded correctly. Besides the roof the body sits on two spines going down the whole trunk of the car and gets glassed in around the wheel wells & door areas. it does the job 100%. stronger than original car.
Did you disconnect the ECU before you tried welding in that earlier video? There’s a chance it fried. Quick check with an obd Port will tell all
I disconnected the battery, plus I had issues starting before I started welding

Nothing for sure yet, I’m researching a few options but I’ll definitely be upgrading performance before the cars done

Nope, you have to source them yourself
rear wheels are offset to make correct . . . .and fron tjust looks better with spacer in- but not necessary. They are not expensive - even for hub centric.
Do you know the proper offset to use? I’m looking into wheels now but can’t find anything about the offset for the vaydor

That was a few months ago, it starts right up now, there was an issue with part of the ecm

It's because your airbags are disconnected
I think that car is slow, because it has so many metal on it

The vaydor looks good but the quality you seem to get for 10k is what I would call questionable, do you get any carbon fibre pieces? the rear diffuser and faux engine cover should both be carbon imo, esp as material wise were talking a couple of hundred dollars, they could've just put a single skin of carbon over the fibre glass pieces which would be even cheaper. and is anyone else worried about that 'roll cage' It looks flimsy as hell, and a lot less comprehensive than a cage for a regular car that hasn't had its entire body removed, it looks like it's a frame to hang the body off and not much more, I would get a welder to put a proper diagonal bar in that rear frame behind the seats at the very least, get some triangulation going on ;) keep up the good work dude she's getting there.
