Pretty much all the same stuff you see in the video plus removing the rad support. I believe it's all 10mm to take the rad support out. Take out the two bolts that hold the rad onto the support first as the mounts usually have to be pryed out.
Hey :) Do I need something to hold the Engine up with when I screw these bolts out at 1:03? Like a jack or something? My neighbor just said I had to have something to hold the engine up with because those bolts holds the engine up :) I'm putting on a new G60 bumper since my old one got stolen.
You know your mark 2's impressive. Question the fuel gauge on my mk2 91 jetta stopped working I see that its not fuze protected other than a ground or a wire issue what do I look for I have never had issue's with the electric fuel cell. Mabey you have a tip. Its pretty obvious your the guy to ask. I have to pull my head light and clean it out it has a hole in the lens its rectangular, you know. Thanks
+Pat “The Truth Train” Gentry IT may just be the sending unit in the actual tank itself, it could be wiring, or it could be your gauge. iff you apply 12v to the pins of the gauge on the back of the cluter it should move, if it doesn't you need a new fuel gauge. If it does it most likely your sending unit in the tank.
Yeah they can be pain. Make sure you haven't put the top side ways bolt back in. Tilt push and pull the bumper you'll find the right spot eventually. Might even be some rust causing the issue.
I have to do this to replace the bumper guides as well and I'm replacing the aero grille with a quad one

***** You should be fine, but never drive without those bolts in. I've done this process many times without need to hold the engine up.
Logan Royer Thanks alot :) I got the new bumper mounted. Those 4 screws were a bit tricky, but I managed to get them out ^^ Easy peacy
