i loved this series and how the two acted like polar opposite parents, kate's trying to put her in a raunchy dress and become a dragon god while nl is putting her in a winter outfit and trying to get her to be a scientist.
Maybe Kate should have let Ryan do whatever he wants in the game. The outcome would have been more interesting. Kate could have just advised him if he had questions. I still enjoyed this series a lot!

I would like to see you play Long Live the Queen. It's basically a more recent version of Princess Maker, but a bit different. For one, it is ridiculously easy to die. There is war you need to navigate, assassins after you, accidents and illness that can occur, and it's actually pretty hard bc the timescale is much slower. You can become a hunter or a magician or the queen, you can beast tame or sing or learn divination or field medicine.. It's really cool and I think it'd be fun to see you compare the games and enjoy a slightly different one. It feels quite similar, so maybe some of that nostalgia would transfer over^^
i haven't watched every episode through, but i am fairly sure that kate entirely forgot about the second part to trigger a marriage with the dragon prince which involves talking to the old dragon again once you are old enough and meet certain stat requirements.
Yeah, there was no way to get the dragon marriage without doing the events with the Old Dragon. If I remember correctly, you have to go back when she's 15 or more and has enough Charisma. You get a unique dress, and the Old Dragon will eventually propose a marriage between the daughter and his grandson, offering 10,000g if you accept.
Ooh, this is another case where the older translation is superior. "Lecture" sounds like it could be a neutral scholarly lecture. The word in the original abandonware version was SCOLD! Which tells you beyond a shadow of a doubt that this option means "yell at". This was fun, but I'd love to see Ryan play this by himself. This is sooooo not the type of game you play the FIRST time with a total expert there guiding you every single step of the way. This is the kind of game that's way more fun if you play it NATURALLY the first time, and get to make all the same mistakes we all made the first time! _Then_ you can give up and look things up on the wiki. :P ...also, if she was already a princess...WHY IS THE GAME CALLED PRINCESS _MAKER_? Also also, a good chunk of the fun in this game is coming up with goofy/ugly/weird/reference names. Ryan should've totally named her Tomahawk.

She was definitely the more liberal and less restrictive while he's a bit more practical and conservative except when it comes to money which she wanted to be efficient and he was a bit more generous with it. A great series anyways. Also a General is definitely not the worst thing your daughter could be so be thankful she decided to sorta follow Ryan's path of a warrior.

Still, definitely enjoyed the series overall.
