A good trick for making stencils for t-shirt DIY's is to use freezer paper!!! There are a bunch of tutorials on it and it makes painting so much easier
I wanted this shirt so bad I found out it was sold out so I looked up videos about this and I found a few videos and I think yours is the best I subbed! ~ Julie
So I had this emo/scene picture downloaded on my phone where the model wore the exact top you shown..I was wondering how cute this is & now there you go! I LOVE YOU girl :* :*
Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I just descoverd you just last week! And I'm soooooo happy I did!!! I LOVE your videos!!!!:) But I do have a question, where did you get the little round brush things???? And also how thick would you recomend the t-shirt to be???? (sorry about my spelling) :)
Hello, I have a question with the stencil is used to make the moons, I would like to know how many centimeters does it every space circles ?? Thank you to answer me as soon as you can. Ps: Your DIY are great ;)
This is probably one of the best I've seen on TH-cam that were diy. One question though, for the shirt, how thick was it, like one of those flowy shirts where u can see your bra color or one where it doesn't go through the other side of the first layer? Thanks :)
For my shirt, it wasn't too thick but wasn't too thin. The one at Brandy is pretty flowy and thin, but it isn't see through, so I would recommend an non-see through shirt. Hope I answered your question :)
Sakina Manekia no, it would wash off. You would need fabric paint, unless you used clear nail polish wear the moons are, but it would be glossy and wouldn’t look store bought, and wouldn’t look that good.
Does acrylic paint also holds to the shirt? Im afraid to use acrylic paint because everyone is using fabric paint to this shirt. Please answer Jen! Luvv you btw.
Hey haha i'm not jen. But i've seen comments on other videos of diy shirts using acrylic paint and they said it won't last long so they recommend using fabric paint instead of acrylic paint. I also saw comments that when you wash it, it will ruin the whole thing Idk if it's true lol.
How?!?! This is awesome! Best DIY account on the internet!
Idk what's more beautiful: Jen or the T-shirt?? Both a lot💁❤️
I agree!😍😍

I love how you start everything from scratch rather than taking a tshirt with the design and cutting it

Sydney Visser also if you cannot get a hold of fabric paint you can use a glossy top coat (clear nail polish) and dab it on with the polish

paul walker she used fabric paint, which wouldn’t wash off, so yes, she washes it.

Nice video but what paint did you use? And can it be washed off or not?
DrawingFun She used fabric paint and it doesn't wash off.
I love this!
Where did you get the green round sponges? ;00
Mine were actually from a kit, so if you can't find it at a craft store, you can always just use regular sponge and cut it to size
Does regular paint work like acrylic
Sakina Manekia no, it would wash off. You would need fabric paint, unless you used clear nail polish wear the moons are, but it would be glossy and wouldn’t look store bought, and wouldn’t look that good.
should we iron the t-shirt after painting ?(sorry for my english)
it depends on what the instructions on your fabric paint say
U helped me sooo much thank you!
thats so cool.

Lourdes Pielago Thanks!
this may be a little late but if you let it dry for atleast 2 days it should do it. Just dont wash it vigorously
Oh okay! Thanks Oh'Kaye :)
will it work if I use acrylic paint instead? should I have any special care when washing it?
it will probably fade away a lot faster. I haven't tried with acrylic paint so I really don't know, sorry!
Acrylic fades a bit
+Matild ish Use Fabric medium with the paint.
I used acryclic and it was just fine, but thx anyway :)
+Matild ish when you wash it will it comme off ?
