I have one of these and the unit can only be operated by the remote control. My issue is that it beeps randomly and sometimes for a long time, sometimes not at all. Almost like settings are constantly being changed. I know part of it could be the sensor but I am leaning towards the apt building cannot handle the current of all 8 running ac units and other electronics. Can you tell me how to disable the beeping ? Well which wires I mean. The sound is annoying and no error messages
the part that makes the beeps is a small black or wight speaker that it made on the circuit bored so there is no way to un hook it but you might can take something and brake the speaker were it wont make a sound
Wow, lots of information here. How do I drain this particular unit so the water doesn’t accidentally drain out while moving? (And yes, we will make sure we don’t keep it in the van in the hot sun)! Will it be enough to tip it back or forward to drain?
It's not made to drain. The fan trows water on the hot cooler and makes it cool ezer but I'd just tilt it back so if there's to much it will run out outside or there might be a punch out on the bottom just be careful don't hit a line
Mine does that too.. it's the freon pressure leveling back out when the compressor stops running Mine will freeze up if you leave it on the coldest temperature for a long time. It might be low on freon if it's freezing up!
Go look at the bottom there should be a over flow hole in the bottom some were that's stopped up it holds some water but win it gets to full its supposed to over flow and should set level in the window. There is a styrofoam drain from the cooler inside to the back on right side in the bottom but you do have to take the cover off to clean it if it's clogged water will full up on the end side and leak make sure the bottom of the cooler is clean
I use the rest button on the cored to tern mine off and on if you get it terned on use the cored to tern it off and it will come back on every time you power it back up or replace the computer bored

Does your's freeze up and when I power mine off it makes a awful sound like something is still running.

Mine is the same and flooding my room my a/c is angled backwards allot not sure what to do take it apart ?

What can you do if the button stops working??? Is there a way to fix this?
