      Thanks for letting me know I just looked that one up and saw Justin's video with them. Not sure how I missed that but I am really excited for the direction this project goes. And thanks for watching!

    Monsoon for sure! I’m also getting into the Rainbow project.

      Monsoon is indeed such an intense morph! And it's funny you mention rainbow as I went over it for researching for this video. Lots of potential there as well not not much work at all into it yet!

    thank you, I loved this. there were 2 i'd never heard of and several I'd heard of but not really seen much of

      Thanks! Yeah I notice some morphs don't seem to be heard of so quite as much until they have already blown up. But these all bring a very unique look to the table.

    Nice picks all around! I do think it's very interesting how the market is shifting so hard into recessive for recessive's sake.
    For example Ultramel/Monarch/(Super)Trojan kind of do a similar thing with their own kind of flavor. I looked at all three for a couple years until ultimately going with the Trojan just since it seemed pretty ignored. I think it really ended up fitting my specific projects better than the recessive options. Of course it all depends on the combos and look you're going for though!
    I also just picked up a het Sunset + kicker pair because they seem absolutely dirt cheap right now. Huge things still to come out of that imo!

      I agree recessive's are the big thing right now. Perhaps its is because they are harder to produce. While I love a lot of them and I am shifting my own plans far more towards recessives, I would just hate to see it at the expense of anything else being lost in the shuffle if that makes sense. As you said Trojan does similar things to Monarch & Ultramel just with it's own flavor. Just like lace and super lace ("white lace") is somewhat similar to Dessert Ghost. But I do feel that in some cases people are underrating these awesome morphs. Recessives do deserve a huge spotlight and a lot of attention. But I think we need to look at what the morph can do and less if it is or isn't a recessive. And yes SOOOO much work yet to see the potential in these morphs including Sunset!
      I actually plan to do this video in 4 parts :) the next one being the top 5 non recessive up & coming morphs. Stay Tuned!

    I have been working the sunset project for over 5 years now. I've got visual desert ghost het sunsets as well as other dh sunset projects I'm working on. I agree sunset desert ghost may be the trick to unlock the potential.

      @RhynosRoyals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow I hope you are able to hit the double resesive I really think that's going to make that project explode even more than it already is!

  • @NixonReptiles

    I like your choices for these and Monarch DG has been done but I dont really see a point in it, combining 2 color enhancers/changers doesnt really play to both strengths.
    Im def partial to Sunsets having made my first ones this last season, so much to be done with it. For the people talking about Sunsets browning out I agree all adult single gene generally dont look great and just now youre seeing Clowns that look amazing as adults. So much potential.

    • @RhynosRoyals
      @RhynosRoyals  ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you mean bur I think we could see that possibly proving itself even more outstanding as an adult. Id like to see it with some other genes in the mix as well.
      And Sunset has so much potential. It's really starting to explode and getting in at the Het to Het level is getting more and more affordable even.

    You should’ve had Super NR Mandarin #1 honestly

      Small world! It's a great example that's why I showed it for sure!
      But this list was just for resesives and I think people are on the fence if Mandarin is or not. To me it's place in the hobby is about the same as a resesive however due to the super form being so nice!

    Can’t believe you didn’t put tsk or mj axanthic prices for both have gone up and multi-recessives aren’t as common other than pied or clown.

    • @RhynosRoyals
      @RhynosRoyals  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that's not because I don't think well of Axanthic. This was for up and coming resesives and I believe that Axanthic is fairly well established and a gene that has proven itself as very popular and one you can find much easier. Yes the lines you mention are not as well represented but I put most the Axanthic together when considering this since there are so many lines. If this was a list of the most established resesives there is a high chance it would make this list.

    Alot of these morphs,(like Sunset) that are garbage as adults compared to the babies. Sunset turns into a mud puddle as adults.

    • @RhynosRoyals
      @RhynosRoyals  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some genes will change with age no doubt, but my Monarch is a full grown adult and looks the same as the day I got him. And when I say the same I mean it. For a lot of others its about putting genes together to try to create a combo that retains or even exceeds its beauty in age. Of the ones I mentioned in this video, most in fact remain the same or very similar as they age.
