1/ Bradamante is a cakeshop owner.
I saved 1,000 SQ to get Bradamante when she finally came to US. I summoned her with my first ticket, then grailed and 10/10/10 her immediately.
She is a holy paladin looking for her husband, so I reject lewding her. Bradamante is not my waifu, but I was able to get her even without all of my saint quartz. It was Fate.

Not only that she's subpar for a 5* servant, but she's outclassed by other lower rarity Lancers(Parvati, the Valkyries, ect).
It's also criminal that Lasangle hasn't touched her kit since she was released. LB 6.5 would've been a great chance to buff her skills at least. Unfortunately, like you said, even if they buff her skills, her base attack stat might not translate well to her any buff she receives unless they give her some form of modifying damage.

One of my first lancers, I now replaced her with Nagao Kagetora together with Castoria and she works a lot better for me. She's cute tho and also has that sweet NP animation 👌 I still use her occasionally
the only thing i like on bradamante is her amazing noble phantASSm.

I just started a week ago and my first 5* was Bradamante from the Jalter banner altho i did get Jalter in the end. She's real cute.
Here’s how I’d fix her: (disclaimer, not focused on making her a better farmer, we have enough of those. I’m trying to make her into a tanky dps with light support) Upgrade Brad’s third skill: Targetable %30 np gauge, debuff removal, 1 time debuff immune, 1 turn of %50 debuff success rate up. This helps her get stuns off easier if you time it right.
Np upgrade: Increased damage as per usual, and if they are evil or demonic enemies, apply a 1 time buff block and 3 turn %20 attack down. Her np already specializes in debilitating targets, so why not improve that feature more especially against a niche that fits her lore.
Finally first skill upgrade: As well as the quick and arts only for herself, it now can apply a targetable 1 time invil and 1k HP recovery every turn for 3 turns to one ally (the quick and arts can only be applied to herself however)

Why evil or demonic enemies? As far as I know, she mostly fights other strong _people_ like Ruggiero and Marfisa, neither of which are evil (her entire story is about _marrying_ the former).

I wouldn't say she's bad, but she's definitely outdated.
Brad was my first and only five star for my first few months of fgo. She'll always hold a special place in my heart for that reason.

Bradamante's biggest downfall was being released during a time where DW was afraid of making Quick Servants too good post-Skadi.

"I forgot she had the stun chance on NP" Bruh, that's literally what the shield does in lore. You uncover the shield and it blinds _fucking everybody_ who's looking toward it. That's, in fact, the _only_ thing the shield does in lore.
It's too bad Bradamante's underwhelming gameplay-wise. Like the other Matter of France characters (sans Astolfo), she's supposed to be this super-knight even while alive, and yet NONE OF THE MATTER OF FRANCE CHARACTERS ARE ANYWHERE NEAR BUSTED! Roland in particular is meant to effectively be a mobile, invincible, anti-fortress Noble Phantasm just by existing, never mind using his _actual_ A+ rank Noble Phantasm. Astolfo is one of the few major characters who _isn't_ supposed to be silly levels of broken, and he's still only "the weakest" _when compared to the rest_ of Charlemagne's crew of superhuman dorks and their greatest foes; he's a capable knight in his own right.
Extra damage against either Servants or Humans would probably be the most suited for her if you wanted to give her something specific. Her notable deeds are mostly fighting against single strong opponents, such as her husband-to-be, Ruggiero, who she bests in combat while disguised in a tournament in order to win her own hand in marriage (she picks him; they're literally destined to be together, as we find out from Merlin's disciple, Melissa). She also fights the warrior-queen Marfisa, Ruggiero's long lost twin sister (unbeknownst to any of them at the time), who can fight through whole armies.
"Don't say, like, Anti-Astolfo or something." I mean, he's her cousin and they're on good terms, so I don't see why she would have that anyway, even as a gag.
you know what, with shield like that and the fact that she already has a guts, how about a 1 turn taunt wih small defense buff and additional effect of stun chance for anything that attacked her
Bradamante is a tragic case. Firstly, she doesn't quite know what she wants to be - she has no passives, average at best gains, a standard lancer deck (Not triple quick or arts) despite being introduced late in the game), low chance based np effects, an outdated SELF guts suited for tanks, a battery suited for a support and a decent duo buff suited for a DPS. Although she is technically "easier" and more straightforward to use - she is 100% outclassed by Pavarti who actually has two great skills to improve her already fantastic gains and actually give her kit offensive generation focus. Being a 4* - Parvati will most likely be at a higher np level due to her rarity and will give you room to slot whatever you may like into your party while also performing a charm looping or farming role. Heck even Valkyrie has a better niche than Bradamante thanks to her access to sure hit and a 20% end of turn battery that assists her refund. Bradmante is a unit more suited to begineers despite her party cost. Now that Append Skills exist, Bradmante is even more outclassed. To add insult to injury - she is outclassed by other aformentioned lower rarity units such as Fionn.

I decided to pull for her lastnight on the astolfo + brad banner. I actually Pulled Both her and astolfo so i'll happily take a copy of her. Plus I mean Dat Ace.

Brad's not bad. Lancer is a very competitive class, and Bradamante lacks that extra sumthin sumthin that her competition has.

there is a bit of that too. When one of your competitors is Melusine it kinda makes everyone else seem worse.
ngl, Bradamante carried me until i got actual loopers but she really feels weak, i wouldnt be surprised if they give her the okitan treatment and just make a better version of her for summer someday (copium) right after medusa summer (copium).
Man, she is so bad that even ZTL doesn't ask if she is still good. Leave aside tags like insanely OP broken, used for avarage 5*.
She was sorely disappointing once i got Par and Par is only a 4 star. I would up her battery to 30%, add an NP gain on her 2nd skill, and have her overcharge damage last 3 turns. This way, she's consistently doing more damage each turn.
NP5 Par along with double Skadi carried me through LB4. She’s something else.

I have mixed feeling about Bradamante. She spooked me on my last multi trying to get Ereshkigal so since then I'm always a bit angry at her xD. But she's super cute sooo I can't be mad at her all the time

Crit buff on her np or a star weight on one of her skills
Lasengle should pop Bradamante's hits on Scáthach's cards and create a monster. It would be very fun.
The fact that they didn't buff this girl for Traum is criminal.
Still, she's super useable in multi-target boss battles or challenge quests with even just a single Skadi support. Her refund on her NP isn't stellar, which is why she's not much of a looper, but because of her naturally high hits on her face cards, her buffed Quick crits actually really carry her NP gain, and then you can just smack the enemies with crit chance down and a very decent stun chance. I remember she absolutely rolled the Sei Shonagon + Waver CQ, where her guts and defense buff also came in handy for that fight's particular gimmick.
I pulled her NP2 in pulls looking for CEs. I use her a bit and she's not that bad NOTHING stellar, but gotta love her NP!
It's not that Bradamante is bad, other 5* lancers are just better.

Always using Parvati instead of Brad, cuz Brad as a 5 star feel mostly like 4 star or lower. Seems that its easier to rise sq prices, but much harder to buff servants with obvious problems.
As someone who has her np2 because she's just cute, to me her biggest problem is where is she a top choice or even a convenient choice? Farming/aoe cq's? She's outclassed in that role by 3x4* (Fionn, Parv, Valk potentially Erice if her instakill doesn't go off). Lack of a special dmg mod compared to her 5* peers also hurts her on my account. I don't mind if servants can't NP loop but if they bring op NP damage to clear high hp waves it's fine and they have a niche (eg Karna). She just doesn't loop or pump out the damage very easily. Absolutely needs to be able to do one or the other for her to get more use on my roster.
Other things I've run into: Lotto farming is kinda meh because her unit cost + superscope/kscope generally means you bring Mash as a event drop ce card holder and I like to farm bond during lottos while maximising drops. Especially if you're trying to farm bond for 5* you don't use a lot. It's a minor thing but a big reason why I personally don't bring her (other than sitting in the back when I run Chen Gong setups).
She needs a 30% to 50% np gain on her 1st skill, and quick and arts down on her NP one of her skills and crit star bomb on her 2nd or 3rd skill then she's will compete with other lancers i have her from the 5star ticket she's good but not bad but just outclassed and struggles. A lot of servants needs buffs and they wont be busted DW messed up with servant skills and try not to make them busted but made them worse or usable instead some servants have niches that they fall perfectly into but others fall heavily. If mhx alter and fionn can come back from being really bad to really good they can fix a lot of servant skills

I threw a 10-shot at her banner because, well, why not? I had Jalter already and I'm not really interested in most units nowadays that aren't Koyanskaya or Oberon.
I got NP2 in the first 2 pulls of the 10 shot and I must say, I'm happy I got this one.
But, I'm also late game with NP4 S.Isthar and all 4 relevant supports, so idc about servants gameplay-wise.
Brad shows up in LB 6 right? With any luck, she may get an upgrade during Road to 7. Hopefully.

She can loop with some help, the way i would use her is buff her with Nero Bride then swap in a 2nd Skadi and go to town. I imagine Castoria can help make her work too one way or another.
If they want to make her an OK servant then I think she should have an NP upgrade for more damage and maybe a 50% attack buff and/or a 50% crit buff

Let me be real with you, Bradamante isn’t bad, she’s decent enough and she really helps me with long battles. Shame there’s no road to lostbelt 6.5 or else she might’ve gotten a buff, I see her as a quick version of Ereshkigal but with less support skills and no niche
Spooked me on the Karna banner, worst part is they were both lancers haha. Oh well, I got enough saved up for saber Astolfo in the spring, might as well use her whenever going against other lancers.
I think there's not much point in trying to make her a better farmer when Parvati and the Vallyries already do that job better and at a lower rarity.
Instead, I think Lasengle needs to decide to double down on her supportive tools, especially her gague. 20% is what welfares and 3*s give, not premium units. 30% is the benchmark, even if her debuff clear is super strong utility.
I think it would be cool if her Guts could be targeted, or if the Defense up could apply party-wide. Maybe give out a turn or two of debuff resist to really double down on her niche (immunity might be asking too much).
Finally I think her Quick/Arts buff needs to boost her debuff chance. They did a similar thing for Tesla earlier this year on JP, so there's precedent. It just sucks she has a chance to stun on her NP and no way to help make it more reliable.
I just use her as a support for my other lancers.

Np dmg buff with party charge (maybe party it's too much and for herself it's better) 15/20% np gauge + special dmg on like Sky attribute
The charge should kinda fix the looping issue and np dmg value buff increases her overall np dmg + a good special dmg
Maybe it's a bit too much but otherwise you would need 2 buffs to fix her problems
Agreed most of powerful servants shouldn't need a support to give higher dmg like artoria even without Merlin she can kick ass with her kit same for her alter version, I mean how much hassle to being ur meta support servants every godaaam time to help ur main DPS, I would prefer for them to be independent.

The game gave me Fionn, 2 astolfo rider, qin liangyu, lakshmi Bai and the kicker a spook 5 star Napoleon.
So the game gave me 0.700 rate and a 0.007 rate servants but not the 0.800 rate up one. 🥲

I had a similar experience yesterday when i tried rolling for the trap saber, 4* rateup not as bad but it was 1 nursery rhyme and 1 herc, and my ssr spook was Jeanne. Used about 450 sq in total so eh.
Also gimme that liangyu, having only np2 when she's lvl 100 is pain

Her refund is too low, she probably needs superscope (or scope+max apend) to do triple skadi
Triple Skadi is still very hard. 2x Ruler Skadi + Nero Bride + Magical Girl of Sapphire is the best solution, and even this only refunds the following:
47.78% with 0 overkill hits
52.55% with 1 overkill hit
57.33% with 2 overkill hits
She can loop with just double Skadi and a 2004 mystic code, but you have to do enough overkill to manage it against Archers, which means you almost have to have NP3+ with her.
I don't think she was THAT bad at release. I have a high NP Bradamante and was able to solo the Tawara Touta CQ during Gilfest with her, for example. Her defensive options do an okay job at keeping her alive. But she's badly needed strengthenings for years now, she's really more equivalent to a four star at her level of power.. Unfortunately, the devs have largely forgotten she exists and missed an opportunity to really buff her properly in Traum.
I have her @ NP2 ONLY because she spooked me twice in the last year... Honestly never use her.

I mean it really doesn't matter how good or bad a servant is. Use who you like as much as you like. I've invested a lot into Maou Nobunaga, Rider/Saber Astolfo and Paris and sure I could work on better servants but I think the games at its best when people use who they like. I'm kinda tired of seeing nobody but Caster Artoria 9n my friends list.
So TLDR screw good or bad. Use who you like and have fun.
Disagree. The game is at its best when people like using who they like. I have servants who I like seeing on the field too, but seeing them get beat up for being subpar is not fun, and long fights get boring.
Maou Nobu most likely got buffed because players asked for it. So IMO it's good that we acknowledge bad 5 stars so that the devs might give them some attention.
Also, yeah, seeing castoria all day every day gets boring too, but we can't expect people to put up servants that nobody uses

Also Maou Nobu still isn't great buti still have her, Rider Astolfo and Paris at lv.100 with maxed skills. These three are by the player bases own reasoning objectively bad but that shouldn't matter if you enjoy using them. People shouldn't be hard pressed into only using the meta stuff because it kills verity. As someone who's actively exclusively pulled for only servants I like and makes it a point to avoid the meta stuff because I just don't enjoy using them I can say I'm enjoying it way more. I'm all caught up on content and it's completely fine. If taking more the 3 or 5 turns is taking to long for you then we literally won't agree because for me to long is closer to 15 turns.

Yes, we should have variety, which is why we should encourage the devs to buff subpar servants, so that everyone's favourite can get some time to shine, even if it is niche. Your side seems to stem from the friends list which is just going to be swamped with meta servants anyway regardless of how good they make other servants. In truth the game promotes having actual support servants on the friends list over anything else.
@@Razealuxe Yes, we shouldnt let the meta dictate who we use, but not all of us have the luxury of time to have our battles be 2 or 3 times longer, and still have fun, or even worse, having the whole team wiped out. Maou nobu and astolfo may not be meta, but they were still buffed to not be terrible.
No, your friend supports dont have to be swamped with meta servants. I borrowed Maou nobu too, but prebuff she kept getting wiped out.
The point is, everyone can use their favourites, but in terms of time spent, SQ spent, or even fun, yes it does matter whether servants are good or bad

SOOOOOOOO I sorta rolled for her on her X-mass release and I did want to wait for Quetz solo but I needed ECE so I did 1 multi for her........ ALTERA spook for my 11th 5* spook. Next years Lancer banner I had a itch/weird feeling, 3 or 4 singles and I got her :P

I don't think she is bad. I had her as np1 for a long time. No complaints. Aren't you just being elitist?
depends on what your definition of elitist is. my expectations for a 5* are pretty high. brad doesn't make the cut for me. she has two selfish skills, but doesn't have the stats to carry. that might be forgiven if she could refund on NP, but she can't even with optimal CEs. as mentioned in the video, she is a quick servant who can't crit. even looking past that, her one support skill doesn't give enough for her to cover a support role. she was designed to do a lot of things, but unfortunately that made it so she can't really do anything compared to more specialized lower rarity options.
She's a dps. People often want servants to do more than what they're intended for. Thus making them seem like elitists.
Or they want servants to be Castoria loop level which is stupid.

@@nottomiokagiyu9830 yeah when you watch these types of videos it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt. The game is designed that every servant can be used to some degree. These videos are only here to spark conversations. At the end of the day brad could suck hot ass but with the right setups she can feel broken. That’s why supports are the most broken units in game they just make the game even easier than it already is.
Just give her a thicc buff
