At first glance, one might think a title like this to be rather depressing, and rightly so too because to be fair, who hasn't got some depressing things to muse over at least once in their life time? But in the words of the composer, this was only the preface of what they had in mind. To quote, they had this to say:
"Life's not worth being burdened by grief and dismay, it can be just as beautiful. Fleeting as they are, taste all of life's different flavours. Let us freely enjoy the moments while sitting, leaning, with a cupful of tea, or a vessel of wine, and say with a smile 《Life's North Worth》."

The old man sat by the table at the lakeside as he poured himself a cup of tea. The wind blew past, bringing along the chimes of the bell and the ripples of the waters. Steam rose from the cup as it vanishes amidst the clear blue sky. The scent of tea brought along memories of the past as he casted a glance at the distant horizon.
Dusk streaked the skies with amber hues and red glows, casting the entire lake in a golden light. He could still hear the distant giggles of children, and the tired sighs of the weary. He had witnessed the smiles of those who marvelled at the beautiful sight of the scenery, and the downcast looks of those who glanced by after a tiring day. The bustling street were filled with myriads of souls that shone with their own brilliance and colour, each with their own sorrows and joys.
He took a sip, and another, as he savored its taste. The lingering aroma of tea filled him with comfort as he took in a deep breath. A couple walked past, hand in hand, as they took a walk by the lakeside. A child ran past as the breeze caressed through her hair. A man stood nearby as he captured the scenery before him with a few strokes of his paint brush. There may be a few stumbles and falls along the journey, yet they'd still found the courage to stand up and move on.
A smile creased his face. It was a fine day to brew tea today. As for tomorrow, he would be sipping wine.

Interesting song title. I used to feel like this a bit, especially before being diagnosed with my diseases. I used to feel so sick in so many ways, I was convinced I had psychological issues. It wasn't until I was brought to the hospital in an emergency that I found out that I had two heart diseases, one of them being heart failure, and diabetes type 2.
But hey: Still alive now, with a somewhat different perspective on life and what things are worth. I'll be on medication for the rest of my years, but at least I'll live.

I recommend you to listen to the vocal version. Although the name of this song is called Life Is Not Worth It, the lyrics are full of cherishing and attachment to life, and it is a very positive and lovely song.

The path towards the mountain looks endless as always.
One beliefs that every journey starts from the very bottom, for we mortals are supposed to live the path of chances and opportunities. Like climbing every mountain in the world, Aocang, Xuanlian, Mingyuan, or any other peaks out there-one must rise step by step, carefully, steadily to the top.
One might slip and fell, but would it be the end of the story? What could be seen from the top? What kind of new adventure awaits? Will there be wide seas to see? Or the valleys scattering low below. Beyond those mountains, the sun settles down for a new dawn. The first twilight, one's heart beats loud, impatiently wishing to see the view.
As one finally manages to climb the last obstacle, gripping tight to the rocks. Mesmerized. The hit of first breeze shudders one's body and mind. The scent of fresh morning dew, the swaying trees, winding rivers, and cranes flying high.
Chenyu Vale, looks majestic as ever-watching over the ends of Liyue to the border of Fontaine.

The title and the music itself contradict themselves. Somehow it feels like someone who says he wants to give up and isolate himself but no matter how tough his life is and how fed up he is, something deep inside him keeps him going on. It's like he doesn't actually believe that there's worth in living and there are lives that should never exist. Dude is tired but he loves life and he wouldn't want anyone else to waste their own
Yeahhhh, I loved reading what you wrote! Just a fun fact, the song’s title “人间不值得” and its lyrics also contradicts itself. The title is about how life not worth it, yet the lyrics talks about how beautiful human life is, even with all the pain and beauty.
