- 1993 was a year after Batman Returns -- but Batman Returns toys were still going strong and were joined by Batman the Animated Series Action Figures. And added to Kenner's action toys -- a little toyline called Jurassic Park. All and all -- it was a pretty big year for Kenner toys.

Loved having those BTAS figures. Had a lot of those Terminator figures too. I forgot about a lot of those repaints from that wave even though i had some
I had all of the BTAS villains -- I got them for Christmas. My mom promptly stole the Scarecrow for her Halloween display.
There's only a couple things from that catalog I had like man bat and a couple of figures from both aliens and Terminator. I had a problem with that five-point articulation Kenner did
All I was buying at this point was Catwoman & Bat villains. My real adult collecting wouldn’t start until 95 with Power of the Force.
I didn't like to many Kenner offerings then. Their poses and accessories were so wild. Everyone fell over. I still stared at the figures in the aisle. Always referring to their star wars and being disappointed. When their star wars popped up again I went stupid gungho
So odd. This seems like not that long ago. Yeesh
I'm convinced that Alien & Predator are knock-offs, in a sense, of Masters of the Universe -- at least the monsters. The size, stature, bulk, and even pose fits with MotU perfectly (just like Mattel's own King Arthur line did). Not surprising, really; lots of MotU laying around since '86, and it affected the toy industry indelibly.
I noticed the Aliens vehicles fired Alienator™ missiles. Well -- yeah! If you fired a missile at me I would suddenly feel unwelcome too.
All that’s missing is a late 80s/early 90s catchphrase: “You’re Alienated now, m-f’er!”
