- Hi Star Wars collectors, welcome to my review of this amazing custom display cabinet made by Collector's Displays UK. This display case has been designed to display a full run of the 96 original Kenner Star Wars figures. It has UV protection, lighting kit and looks a great way to display a loose run of Star Wars figures. But is it worth the £595 price tag?

Tim, the cabinet looks absolutely stunning. What a way to display your original Kenner Star Wars figures. I need to sit down with Georgie and give her all the reasons why I need this display cabinet in my collection.

It's a really nice touch that it's UV protective.
I've had one for 6 months now and can vouch for it's quality (albeit mine isn't as full as yours, work in progress!) Drew who makes these is a damn decent chap as well 👍

It’s amazing that the Retro line has already hit 84 figures. That’s counting the upcoming Episode 1 wave; Steve Evans made a great graphic which features all 84.

Man. As a kid I loved getting those Kenner Star Wars figures. I thought it was so cool every figure had their own unique color on the blister card.

This is one of the most amazing display pieces ever for one of the most amazing and definitive collections I’ve ever seen. You should be incredibly proud of owning a completed set of figures like that. I know it probably took a lot of time and resources to fulfill, but when it’s now on display in all that glory I’m sure it was worth the effort and journey. Congratulations!

I live in the United States and did buy the horizontal version F, which also had room for the 3 piece band to be displayed. I simply love this display case, which is the center piece of my room. Everyone is drawn to this piece right away. They only ship it to the United States unbuilt due to shipping cost, but it is fairly simple to assemble. As you had mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but if you think about it, it's well worth it considering the value of ones vintage Star Wars collection. I also purchased a couple of dioramas too. Best to purchase them together then shipping cost will be less. BTW, I love your channel, and thanks. Augie

I don't even collect vintage but I would just consider this as a cool way to go about displaying a subsection of figures or a collection focus. Super cool!

It’s really awesome. I could never afford it for my own collection, but I’d say if you have the 96 (or even a good percentage), 600 is really not bad at all for displaying a collection your proud of.
Also, aside from displaying them so nicely, it must surely simplify the whole dusting aspect.
My only critique - and it’s a very OCD one, admittedly - is that the “bars” motif on the sides aren’t sized and aligned with the rows. (Again, super OCD, I know.)

These are great cases. Love them. I wish I could get them easier here in the states -I’d probably need 3 cases for all the figures and variants I have. heheh.

That looks phenomenal and the price doesn't seem out of line.
I find that when the figures are all blended together like this to be somewhat confusing and messy to look at. Especially when you add in additional colors in the background. Instead, I think Empire figures should be together with other Empire figures in a group going from black to gray to white colors. Likewise with Rebel figures. Much less messy and confusing to behold. And just use a neutral gray colored background so no color clashing going on.

100% AGREE this is an amazing stand. I want the coffee table too for the Falcon, I have the full 96 displayed .. thinking of another for the new Retros or do you think Vintage collection 96 will ever be realised ??
Not sure if it’s worth displaying the retro, will just look the same. Lol. You could get a modern version of every figure (not TVC) except Sim Aloo of course!

What are the dimensions of the interior box? Also what is the spacing between figures vertically?
Question that battery pack not the smart recharge but the other battery pack looks nice and sleek on the sides, where can I get it cause I’m setting it up , thank I appreciate it love your video and all updates I always watch it keep up the work for all collector out there

This looks incredible. I have the full run of vintage Kenner 96 as well, and will definitely get this! You said the piece of plastic used to extend Snaggletooth was a gift. Did that person have it custom made? Or is it something that can be purchased? Also, I noticed you put Blue Snaggletooth on his on circle stand with peg hole. Does the display come with extra stands? Where did you get that from?
I am not sure regarding the plinth, but the stands can be bought on ebay. ebay.us/7rDR4J (affiliate) I do believe the case comes with a few extras though, but all one size. (larger ones)

Really awesome display and collection! Is there another plastic extender piece for two figures so you can display both versions of Yoda (brown and orange snakes)? Be nice to have one that elevates one higher than the other to see them both.

Yes, there are risers that can be purchased from Drew or from Amazon. They work extremely well to display shorter figures that are the same height.
Is it really flat on the walll does it come with the stands too.. did u buy it pre built or u assemble yourself cause I live overseas need to know to make a good decision on this piece which I like and plus I’m collector too
Pretty sure I answer all of your questions in the video. But I am sure that they only deliver overseas unbuilt. It arrives like flat pack Ikea. It’s easy to assemble though. Yes the stands are included. Everything you need except the figures

Don’t you worry about the direct light on the figures ?
The case is UV protected but also my window has a black out blind, so light gets in
The display is excellent, but it's a bit pricey at almost $700 USD.
