I have the model one version six. The action is not as smooth as Reate or Hinderer but it's also not $450+. It took a bit to break mine in, and it's still not drop shut but good enough. Get one. I am very happy with mine.
Awesome thoughtful video man. I loved the version 5 when I had it. I think he's really improved and based on the six that we saw from Blade show I think he's really doing a great job. Thanks for the video
I was actually wondering who owned the other red cf. I believe only 2 or 3 of those were made at the time and I got the other one. But yeah I don’t think he meant for them to drop shut more than just having a smooth close. Mine drops as long as I hold the lockbar though. Great video 🍻
Some answers to your questions. The carbon fiber is fat carbon. It’s a v4 with a v5 blade. The black g10 I had contoured and that’s an early v5. They do not come with skiffs. I put those in, but they do come with ceramic now I believe. The V6 in 20cv is still the same price. It’s got jimping on the blade now and the stonewash looks awesome. These make amazing user knives. Not the most fidget friendly out there. Just a great American made working knife. Stay tuned! There is a full titanium model 1 framelock coming very soon! Go join the American blade works Facebook group to stay up to date! Edit: Those clips are the redesigned clip👍🏼 you had the older style. These ones have a better ramp.

That is good to hear, I wish him much luck.

Nice. Like the cf one’s scales.
SUPPORT AMERICAN MADE! I just bought one. $185 shipped. Great buy.
It's awesome to have an American option at a good price. Especially a hand made one. Great review 👍

great overview kev i hear good things about the version 6..
So the V6 is basically an American made midtech/custom in 20CV for sub $200? 🤔
Yup
That is fatcarbon btw. It’s called red dark matter but it’s made by them. I like that one - thanks for the video!
Pretty sure one is a 4 and the other is a 5. If I remember right, the 5 has blasted hardware!
