An hour at Wolverton station, (Milton Keynes) on the West Coast Mainline on a busy Friday Morning on October 19th 2012.
INCLUDES: EWS 66's, Freightliner 86's & 2x 66's, Virgin Pretendolino twice, on an empty test run to Northampton & back, hauled by 90047, Virgin Pendolino's & Voyagers and London Midland 350's!

3:41 that looks rare - a freight overtaking a pendolino does sound rare

A very busy hour. well it always seems to be on the west coast mainline. When i go there i sometimes don't get any freight but you got lots!

Not often you see 86 freightliners overtaking a pendo!! Quite amusing.
I used to spot here in the mid/late '90s and 86/87/90s were all there was, and 321s on stoppers and 319s passing through.
Still a bit of variety I suppose even now. Just not quite so much.
