do sanding drimels give a similar result to those diamond ones? I'm hoing to buy but there is a pretty big price difference between the two so.. what's the downsides of the sanding drimels other than the louder noise?

They are both almost the same. But the fact that our dog nail grinder is much quieter is the biggest difference. Because your dog wouldn't have any discomfort during trimming their nails, they won't be scared or anxious
