    I truly love watching these documentaries! Thank God for the age of digital technology...and for the photographers... who have dedicated their lives to feed us with information like these via TH-cam. We're learning so much about the animal kingdom.
    May God continue to bless and keep them as they feed us with such valuable pieces of nformation from across the world.

    I live in the mountains of southern Colorado. Golden eagles live and do well here. Near where I work there is a large prairie dog town and the eagles hunt them. I have some good pictures of this. An interesting thing is the crows and magpies always try to drive the eagles away yet follow them to eat the leftovers. Watching a large golden eagle diving at wild turkey trying to get one of them to fly out of the low brush is interesting to watch. The turkey are not so dumb as you might think though.

    So cool! From the US and our national bird is an eagle, so for that reason, I've always found birds of prey fascinating. Seeing a golden eagle go from egg to adulthood is incredibly entertaining. Seeing the challenges they face makes their survival all the more special. Seeing them fly really impresses upon me why eagles are featured so often in myth and legend, and in our modern mythologies like Tolkien's Lord of the Ring with the Great Eagles. They are very majestic.

    • @Whiteshell204
      @Whiteshell204 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      useless fact: Those Eagles you speak of are actually Canadian Eagles...in the 70's because of the use of Pesticides the American Eagles were nearly wiped out so Canada started a breeding program with the USA and banned certain pesticides and their numbers eventually recovered

    We have many Eagles here in Southern Oregon. They are always a treat to watch.
    I often see them waiting in the trees near my boat and will swoop in and grab the fish soon as I toss them back in. Smart damned birds!

    • @kimberlyjohnson1371
      @kimberlyjohnson1371 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's great . they're taking advantage of easy prey not having to locate the fish because they have such good eyesight.."eagle eye" you're actually helping nature by tossing the fish in..
