    I just went to a new dentist and she immediately noticed all the signs of celiac in my mouth (ulcers, sensitive gums, sore mouth) that I didn't even know were connected to celiac!

    I’ve had tonsil stones my whole life. When I turned 45 I had severe idiopathic hives that were uncontrollable. This was my first debilitating experience with gluten allergy. My hives went away and I thought my body rebalanced, but now I have new symptoms at 62 that I think are gluten related. I looked in my mouth watching this message and I sure have tinsel stones. I am going back to a grain free diet.

      @@aquafreshbestpriceguarante2604 Hi! I did have bloodwork done (I have Hashimoto's). I don't remember specifically what it was called, other than it tested igG levels. I started feeling dramatically better after about a month. Going gf has been life changing for me. My very long list of ailments gradually fell away and I started to actually feel GOOD! It will be 4yrs in July! Definitely worth trying!

    I've been sick all my life and have had so many cavities the dentist asked how this could be? I've repaired every tooth I have over and over and on top of that I've had blisters in my mouth, yes Inside. My blood works came out "Not gluten sensitive" but when I skip it and then eat alittle, man..Do I get sick. It's gluten. None of us are made for it since they changed an enzyme back in 1901 to make the wheat better suited for the farming and we cant break it down so we get sick and allergic. Thats why we are having this epidemic of mentall illness and overall physical illnesses. It's all due to gluten. I even went autoimmune from it due to vitamin D malabsorption, seems I have a defeciency of B6 aswell. Thats also why one gets so hungry and eat and eat, we are trying to get the vitamins back in but we cant absorb them bc of an inflamed colon. I was so bad off I slept 15-23 hours a day, my legs felt like they were to cave due to how tired I was and I smelled so bad; my sweat, my mouth, my under area..Despite showering every other day OR for a while every day. It came from inside my body.

    • @Zuckerpuppekopf
      @Zuckerpuppekopf 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are correct, assuming you actually do have cavities, (that's another risk of dental diagnoses these days). Brushing thoroughness is also important as is diet. A lot depends on whether you also had fluoride incorporated into the structure of your teeth growing up via the ingestion of fluoridated water. But you either have that or you don't. Can't do anything about that after your teeth develop. Topical fluoride however is very critical post tooth eruption if you have a lot of sugar in your diet or have crowded teeth that impact food debris which you don't get to frequently. Older people also have a lot of issues with cavities around their roots since they may also have quite a bit of bone loss and greater tooth length from age-and-neglect-related gum disease, and the cavities they often get are not resisted first by enamel....they invade straight into roots, and the result can be devastating. Damage is cumulative.

    I read the most common form of dermatologic reaction is the urticaria gluten sensitive people get on hands, forearms, or legs. Even this most common symptom only occurs in 15% of the cases. I suspect most of these potential oral complications mentioned in the video are very rare. More concerning is that many of these oral complications could also be something entirely else. That's the problem with this information. For example the gustatory rhinitis Dr. Osborne mentions can be from many other things besides gluten sensitivity. I don't doubt it could affect it but in most cases it likely is not actually a common cause of it.

      @@shantinaturechild3239 "Grains are not human food anyway and neither is..." ....is quite the silly statement. There are no substances in the world that NATURALLY have a label on them saying they are for human consumption. Humans exist because they eat things from their environment. The fact they have enzymes and metabolic processes to digest one food or another pretty much proves humans evolved themselves to eat something that their body can digest, and did so at one point in time or another.

      I suspect this Dr is pretty much on the money. I'd get hives and rashes on my skin from touching grass seeds as a child, and whenever I mowed the lawn as a teen, I'd end up with the most horrendous hay fever. Then I had decades of mouth ulcers. Not diagnosed Coeliac until my late 40s. Now, not a single issue since going GF. Had any of my 30-odd GPs from the age of 9 thought outside the box, I may have avoided these decades of pain, less than par life performance and been able to devote more energy, money and time to thriving. Dr Osbourne risks his professional credibility in allopathic medicine to bring us these outlier ideas, and I am so grateful he does. Were it not for the likes of this good man, Paul Mason and Ivor Cummins, I'd still be GP chasing for answers and still be gaslit by them.
