This video gives a great perspective on Mott's approach to training & the variables of relationships w/ owners beyond " pre & post race " interviews ; he was given the floor 2 speak on the aforementioned ; and he explained his approaches extremely well

i worked, for Bill's, Chicago string, the year, he had Taylor's Special, Rapid Grey, and Theatrical. they all, held track records. proud, to have had that opportunity. wise trainer, once told me, "can't learn everything, from one guy, if you think you've learned everything here, it's time to go elsewhere" Well, i remembered that, and gained swathes, of information, from various trainers. it has served me well.

I worked with him when he was training under VanBerg and He was passionate. A little arrogant but knows his stuff. He's never mentioned how much he learned from Jack.

I've worked for him too, now he lets his assistants run the show, and they aren't capable. 80% horses in the barn have ulcers...like he said, it's just a business...

So true ! Holly W. His first groom saved Cigar twice. Chocking on alfalfa. Ulcers. The worst asst Tommy Allbertronie. Sent one of the finest filly’s to run in Maryland. He was told by several vets she had hairline fracture. He couldn’t handle her so he wanted to destroy her. Hope the Ramseys see this. Also overheard bet say this is cutting it close, . TA told him not to worry about it. Then bet Answered ITS My LiIscense on the line.! . Ps I won 2 races with Risks Filly
