I'm glad youtume finnally reccomended your videos to me. Handy videos of the type I am generally curious about. Nicely presented as well. In regards to the fix, I've often wondered how useful those plastic welders would be. Think I may invest in one after seeing this video. And yes, 3D CAD - the thing I keep threatening to learn but not yet done. So many times it would be handy to design my own parts for the 3D printer.
Welcome to my channel! I saw a few videos about these lurking TH-cam last year and for how cheap they are I couldn’t pass trying one out. The repair is still holding strong and now I’m using it to save some expensive plastic dog crates we used to just trash if they got a small crack.
And now I need to buy a plastic welder!
Great job on the 3D printing!
Link in the description! 🤪 I cut the part where I re-printed my “second version” by mistake and wondered why nothing changed. 😆
I saw this repair today, and it's honestly impressive how well this came out.
that was cool seeing the process you used here! all of a sudden, this sort of thing seems much less daunting and pretty straight forward,
Yeah, it was pretty mangled to start with but taking it one step at a time got this dashboard back into great shape!
