Manuel Solano can still paint despite losing her sight

Manuel Solano, a Mexican artist born in 1987, lost her sight in 2014 at the age of 26 due to complications from an HIV-related infection, but Solano continues to create new works of art using a unique method. By placing nails, pins, and string on the canvas and tracing them to create a tactile visualization of the painting, Solano reconstructs childhood memories into paintings.
