- hello! a few people have requested a real time study with me kind of video, so here it is! i made it so that you have time to gather your materials as well as a little reminder to take a study break at the end. you can use this as a "study timer" and replay the video once you're done with your break to time your study session again. let me know if you want me to make more videos like this, with or without music, with or without rain / water sounds, etc etc. i'm always happy to make more :")
this was pre-filmed in august and pre-scheduled so that you guys could consistently have content from me, and i didn't think that i would have time to make more videos in the first few months of college. thanks for understanding!

this is my go-to study with me video, i first used it in 2019 for my SPM revision and now its accompanying me through my college late night revisions
Omg she takes note so neatly, if I do that I won’t focus on the words but focusing on how I should keep those words neat
with online school going on, i can normally concentrate really well. but today i just CAN'T! i put this on in the background, and it's helping me stay focused! :)

How does one even study Seo? All my life, studying is just memorising and revising is also memorising and I’m just so confused by it
There's two different ways to study: one to memorize temporarily and one to memorize for life. Many school subjects will fall under the former, but skills such as learning how to drive a car or practicing empathy in psychotherapy are the latter. Ideally we want everything to be in the latter, but that's impossible, so decide what you want to keep for an exam and what you want to know for life.
My curriculum just requires me to byheart the textbook and kinda photo copy paste it out into the exam paper 🤷🏻♀️
understanding is the key to retaining knowledge, not memorising. You can memorise key formulae or definitions, but to excel in a certain concept during exams, you have to understand them thoroughly. When you understand these concepts, you’ll know how to answer the questions in the right way in case they tweak it in some sort of way during tests. If you memorise concepts, it would be nearly impossible to answer the questions correctly if they phrase them in a different form of tweak them differently.

I really love the fact that you can see your notes clearly unlike some videos I watch I just don’t know what they’re studying (coz I like to know) and because ur doing chemistry I’m really happy because I chose triple science gcse and it’s really helpful tysm🖤🖤
