    For years I thought I was a light spring because my skin and hair are naturally light gold. But light colors wash me out. Your videos helped me to understand I'm a bright spring. My eyes are medium blue green and contrast greatly with my skin and hair. It's quite striking and most people thin3 my eyes are dark brown or black! My best colors are turquoise, Kelly green, and coral.

      I could have written this post! Many people told me my hair is too light for me to be bright, but I have seen others like me determined to be Bright Springs, now. Those are also my best colors…also blue/greens . I have since had this confirmed, though I was told I am a Light/Bright Spring…in between the two groups.

    Your videos are hands-down the best on color analysis! I love the way you talk about changes in hair color or having a tan as important to understanding which palette to apply. It would be wonderful to see some videos with darker skin tones since I think a lot of people are confused about it due to lack of examples. ❤

    I have just discovered you and have subscribed! You appeared on my "new to you" section of TH-cam! I have always considered myself, bright winter - I have a neutral skin tone. However after watching several of your videos, I have discovered that I am in fact bright spring! I went shopping yesterday and purchased two long sleeved blouses in colours from the bright spring spectrum. I got a "that`s a nice colour on you" from my teenage son, who doesn`t notice anything I wear!! Keep up the great informative videos!

    Thank you for this. I’m a Spring and I’ve always wondered why bright red looks good on me. I do in fact have fair skin that has some pink coming through so your explanation made a ton of sense!

    Thank you so much for this video! 💝I´m one of those light springs that don´t tan anymore as an adult.
    I couldn´t wear white. But I dyed my hair dark brown several times actually to cheat with deeper colours, autumn or winterish, in clothes because my light colours aren´t available here.
    After realizing that dilemma I started to make my own motifs for shirts or maybe dresses. But it still takes time now to find out how to match them to standards of print services.
    The dark phases have been interesting times to feel not completely lost though. XD

    Thankyou for your very informative video. I am wondering if I am a bright spring as my best colours are clear and saturated, mostly warm - but some of those vibrant winter blues also work.

    I cant figure out what i am. I had light hair as kid, i tanned in summer. As i got older, i dont tan anymore, my hair looks ash medium blonde, but in sunlight, i see some golden. My eyes ate blue grey and my skin is neautral with both blue and green veins. I feel off in all colors, but i do like white and black.. i feel dull and grey anyway. Muted colors are The Worse for me.

      The mix of colors in your veins is a Spring trait. I suspect that you are a Bright Spring, which follows if black and white work for you and muted colors don't.

      @@edennis8578 Thanks. I did suspect that i might be bright spring, i look kinda dull in both dusty light colors, and pastels. But bright green looks good, bright Salmon, i look good in white/off white and black. But my hair is not a bright color it is more dusty. My eyes are bright tough.

    I can’t tell if I am a soft summer or soft spring! Naturally my skin is light and pink flushed, and my hair is ashy dark blond. But in the summertime my skin is very tan and neutral looking, and my hair turns a golden caramel type colour. I look best in pale pinks, pale blues, very light greys, and gentle whites. I look terrible in deep dark colours and rich warm tones like burnt orange. Do you have any advice on how to differentiate the two seasons??

    • @FilosoFashion
      @FilosoFashion  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Try to make a grey color test - it's either you blend in and look great or it will make you look pale and "lost". If grey looks great on you - most likely you are summer.

    • @hahdanghongha7810
      @hahdanghongha7810 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      there is no soft spring, because the color of spring is either bright (saturated) or light (lots of white), on the other hand, there is soft autumn
      being soft means you would look good when avoiding strong color and colors with contrast, your detail color would be small to please the eyes.
      if you are good looking when wearing colors added with white, you can be either light spring or light summer. You can wear lots of color next to your spectrum.

    • @edennis8578
      @edennis8578 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hahdanghongha7810 There are color theorists who include a category Soft Spring.

      @@edennis8578 if I'm not wrong, it could be light spring, with a new name.
      anyway, send me 5 of your photos with good lighting, I can show you your season.
      it's not that hard. But the hard thing is that, inside one season, you can have some specific colors that make you the best.
      the idea of 12 seasonal analysis is about warmth vs coldness, vividness vs softness (color saturation), lightness vs deepness, the better how you define yourself in the scale (each of the three), the better you can find your best, And you still can find the good colors, and the so-so colors that match you
      it's not about everything you can wear, but the possibility of magic that can happen when you wear the suitable color is very inevitable.

      @edennis8578 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hahdanghongha7810I think you're correct that some systems rename Light Spring as Soft Spring. I've always been a Bright Spring, although now my hair is drabbing down and going gray, I am starting to lean more towards the Light Spring end of the spectrum. I expect that in a couple of years, my appearance will cross over more, if not entirely to low-contrast Light Spring.

    Can bright springs wear black? Can they use it as a basic color in a capsule wardrobe?

    • @Anna-zu8nf
      @Anna-zu8nf ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am bright spring, I can wear black, but only if there is texture in the fabric. I cannot wear anything that is black and smooth. I have to wear jumpers that are knitted, either ribbed, chunky or fluffy. Having said that, if it is smooth black, the fabric has to have either small polka dots or thin stripes. Hope this helps.

    I feel like I'm definitely a bright spring but I'm a little confused. Ive had dark brown eyes, almost black when I was younger. Same for my hair. And I also burn in the summer. Can I still be a bright spring?

    • @FilosoFashion
      @FilosoFashion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can be a bright spring :) see what your undertone is because Spring is predominantly warm. Maybe you are winter if not Spring.

    • @edennis8578
      @edennis8578 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm a bright spring. My hair color was reddish brown when I was younger and my eyes were extremely dark brown. Porcelain skintone that is just a bit warm. As I got older, my eye color changed to amber/hazel. My best colors are true turquoise, vivid warm pink, aqua, lilac, vivid lime green, and dark brown. Edit: I almost forgot to include orange, a bright, clear, yellowy orange, like early morning sunshine on fresh-squeezed orange juice. It may be my best color. So hard to find! I found it one year about 30 years ago, and never again.

    I cannot figure out what I am. I’m either true spring, light spring, light summer, soft summer or soft autum.. I had light blonde hair as a kid and rarely tanned, puberty and my hair was golden blonde and I never tanned, I was very pale looked sickly, after puberty I have ash blonde in the winter and golden blonde in the summer. I’m pale in the winter and I tan more and more each year in the summer and get more and more freckles at the same time. What the hell am I????? My veins are a mix of blue, green and some purple. Sometimes they look entirely green and sometimes they look entirely blue. The largest vein up the arm is almost always green and the smallest up the palm of my thumb is purple. My eyes are blue with a gray tint and yellow “sun” around the pupil which sometimes is and sometimes isn’t as noticeable. My dad is ginger very freckled and very pale, my moms hair went from white blonde to ash growing up, never golden, but she tans very easily and have warm skin.
