My jaw hit the daamn floor.. I couldn't believe that sht. Lol.. Wow.. ballsy move. A.D. has been phenomenal this year.. But dannng.. Idk. I thought do the Mavs know something we don't.. because if A.D. who I used to call Aka Street Clothes King, Man of Glass etc.. gets hurt, they're gonna regret that trade. Guess they have that 2029 1st as backup.. 😬 a 31 year old injury prone A.D. for a 25 year old Luka Donćic.. That doesn't sit well with me. Might get a couple decent year's out of A.D.. or he could go down hard and fast. Lol I'm in shock..
He got the C he wanted and his PF position. Problem I've always noticed with A.D. tho. Is even if he says he wants to play PF, he's a better C. Because he's not as mobile at the 3pt line as he needs to be. Or that fluid of a shooter from there. The one championship season he had was his best ever.. and only one since from 3 like that. Went from .330 to
.297 this season from 3. 😅 yet he wants to be a PF. I mean, I guess.. I'm sure it will increase if he's just posted up in the corner. 🤷 I just looked it up, supposedly he's 32% on catch n shoot 3's and 20% on pull ups.. not the best. They must believe in that Kyrie pick n roll. It shall be interesting lol. I'd hate to be the one on the bad side of this trade tho. 😅

I know I’ve stated to let Nesmith ease back in to rotation, but I’m convinced that TJ played so well last year with Obi and Benn running on the second rotation. I think all these guys have bought into the team concept and would benefit this last week and half before AS break to move Nesmith back into starting rotation and have Mathurin move with TJ and Obi, with Walker/Shepp sharing minutes depending on opponent. With Jazz game coming up, I’m more sure than ever in Pacers taking Walker over Hendricks..
The Pacers don't have a problem holding onto leads. Rick has a problem holding onto leads.
I have no idea what this means
Rick's main problem is his minutes rotation. No matter the score he will automatically put in his second unit. I hate that. Messes with the flow and energy. Keep rolling with the flow. Every team can and will make a run but don't help the other team.
When the Pacers play defense like they did in the first quarter, basketball looks easy. They don't seem to do it for more than a quarter.
If Pacers trade Obi Toppin and or Nesmith. I hope they look at Santi Aldama, Jake LaRavia, Day'Ron Sharpe and Jalen Smith. MEM Declined Jakes Rookie Deal, so we could probably sign him for about 8.0 mil. As he's now an UFA that they can't offer more money to. He's a great shooter, solid defender and rebounder. He's only 23, could be more consistent at time's. But doesn't get regular minutes. He can play PF and SF very well. He's a movement shooter, can shoot 3's off a screen. Even slightly fading away. Also, he grew up in Indianapolis Indiana.
Aldama is a movement shooter too. They also denied his extension. Yet they do want to try and resign him. They have his Bird Rights still. He could get what Obi has at least. Maybe even 14.mil.. As he's a consistent 3pt threat who's mobile and can get you like 9 rebs a game.
Wish we could trade the whole Hawks roster for miles turner
