John Williams' "Call of The Champions"

Let's get in the spirit for the 2020 Olympics with John Williams' epic work, "Call of the Champions." Written for the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, this selection was performed during the opening ceremonies and features the Olympic motto, "Faster, Higher, Stronger" - heard in Latin at the opening of this work, "Citius, Altius, Fortius."
The International Olympic Committee recently amended its motto to "Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together" to highlight the need for solidarity through the COVID-19 pandemic. Please enjoy this performance of John Williams' "Call of the Champions," and may it rouse your enthusiasm for Team USA, and may we all move forward stronger - together!
