I've dated latina and white women in the past and there's always the awkward convos about how to raise the kids if we have them and what we need to instill in them when we're raising them. I was in a serious relationship with a latina girl in my early 20s and we were tlaking about getting married and having kids and she went on a weird tangent about not wanting her kids to have nappy hair and she wanted the kids to stay more with her mom and her family so the kid knew spanish first over English and other shit and it hit me that my child would be raised having to live up to two different identifies. I want my son or daughter to be proud of their natural hair. I want them to be proud of their lineage. Etc. Besides getting older and being attracted to black women more and more, I think I want to carry on a lineage with another black woman as opposed to another race. I don't shit on people who fuck out of their race, but I do have problems with the sistas and brothas who shit on black men and women all day and then go suck on the white mans dick or suck on the white womans clit. I'm not down with that.

As a biracial child, I truly feel people need to have these real conversations with their interracial partners. Like me for instance, my parents didn't brace me for the bullying and ridicule I faced as a child, due to me being biracial. As if, I had a choice in who my parents were. If you're going to be in a interracial relationship, please prepare your kids for this fucked up world. I grew up with complexes I didn't even know I had until I got into my 30s. I'm not white enough to be white, and I'm not black enough to be black. When a child gets told that, how do you think that child feels? I felt unwanted by both sides. The black side and white side both rejected me, because my parents made a choice that had nothing to do with me, but yet I get punished or made fun of because of it. I'm like 90% African and when I was young I was teased by other African American kids for being darker. Being bullied by your skin color isn't something new just because your percentage of what you're mixed by is different. Your culture must respect you. See this is where people go wrong. They think of history as something of the past when they create it every day. And generally you find that it's always based on trying to respect a history that shouldn't be respected.
Slavery was part of the American culture. It was in fact, an international culture. Having a slave was part of life. But you don't have to respect that. This goes for many cultures. Culture must evolve. The more black Americans base their culture on slavery, the less likely they are to look at the opportunities they have. I know that that's a perspective that people will fight me over, but that's okay coz in the end they'll still be bottom feeders until they understand this.

If you’re black or Asian, there’s a lot more opportunities to date outside your race than if you’re white. I think Asians marry interracially the most, which isn’t surprising because they are a small minority.

Common sense man smh lol.. this is why therapy is very useful. You could grow up with things that you observed from childhood as trauma and literally pass it on to your child because of how human beings learn as a mechanism for survival. This is why we say, children are extremely impressionable. Just like everything else we examine, looking back helps to explain what we are dealing with in the present. For example, we are more than likely headed to a major recession… how do we know this? By looking back in the past. How do you prevent this from happening in the future? You go back to the past to better understand things and make changes to prevent the same outcome in the future. That said, what happens in the past, the future generations after basically are left to deal with our mistakes. It’s what it is… this is partly why we have to pay so much in taxes because of public dept our country incurs. What happens in the past, will most definitely affect the future

All of it comes with dating and being friends with people outside your race. It’s not racist if you choose not to doe, that is, if you’re not hating on them bc of their race or whatever. My life consisted of living in the hood, and also living in suburban areas. With that said, I feel like if you’re going to have friendships bc of where you live or who you’re around and they aren’t the same race as you, you’re going to acknowledge and see diff aspects that isn’t part of your culture. Especially in intimate relationships. They both need to go both ways… For example, You can’t have a black friend and think he’s gonna wanna be around more of you than his own race (generally speaking. Ik it’s not always like that. But typically speaking), nor can you expect that black dude to feel comfortable with around most of your white ppl when he’s the only black dude in the room. It’s just a culture difference. It can’t be one sided… You can’t expect a black person to mainly be around your side but you don’t wanna be around theirs bc you feel uncomfortable bc of what comes with the black race. If you aren’t ready to explore new cultures, new topics to be brought up no matter if it involves your future kids, your love life, culture, ppl tryna get an understanding bc you’re diff then you shouldn’t be in an interracial relationship. If you love everybody like you say you do, and you don’t mind being around everybody then you’re gonna have to feel uncomfortable in certain things that involves you not being in an only specific culture bc your around somebody that’s diff. In life, we all have pros in cons in all aspects in things. One of the cons tho of not having an interaccial friend group or relationship is you may lack information which may come off wrong. Or even if it doesn’t, you still may not know as much and what to say or what not to say or do.
I’m just explaining this as a culture perspective. I love everybody, while I also know that racism, being prejudice and stereotyping is a thing, some of it is culturally. Some ppl rather be in other cultures of their own which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes you’ll see how the difference may affect you due to you not already being apart of that, regardless if it’s what comes with culture (which is race), or just the things you’ve never experienced before. But if you aren’t able to handle you being the only white dude at the cookout then don’t expect a black dude to wanna only be around a white persons get together. If you aren’t able to handle you being the only Asian at a fiesta, then don’t become to the point where you’re in that relationship. Same thing goes with religious beliefs bc that category is the same with culture and traditional culture. If you aren’t okay with being in a room of atheists and you’re Muslim, then don’t be around them. Same thing if you’re a catholic but you’re around somebody who only knows life as astrology. Everybody doesn’t have to fit in with eachother. Those ppl who you’re around can be nice ppl as individuals, but if you’re having a hard time trying to understand and it makes you feel uncomfortable then don’t do it. It may look racist, but if it’s not for you then it’s not for you. While other parts of certain cultures may vary, like politics, history, racism, religion or whatever, sometimes if it’s not for you then it’s not for you. Not saying you have to get into political beliefs, or religion every time you’re around them but bc I’ve met cool atheist, cool transgender people, cool white people and cool catholic ppl. Not knocking that at all bc they are cool people. But when it comes down to beliefs, what you believe in, and how you would love and live your life, sometimes you might have to reconsider. Don’t hate them though. Love them, and still be by them. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be really super close. Bc if it’s not for you then it’s not for you. But if you can’t handle it bc you can’t understand nor do you feel like you ever will when it comes to that deep aspect of life, then it’s okay. Especially if you feel more comfortable just going to school together or just texting or whatever as associates or something like that.
Ik This is alot but I’m just trying to make it easy to understand. If you’re able to put all the differences aside then that’s awesome, tbh that’s actually the goal but not everybody is gonna get along tbh.

It’s crazy because after my last breakup I decided to heal and improve myself for 3 years now. As I pondered entering the dating world again I really said I want to date my race. I’m biracial but I’m a black woman. To me, that’s how I feel. And it’s about knowing one’s self. I’m really multiracial. I didn’t feel bad about it but I challenged myself to think of it because I’m a perspective thinker as a therapist. But it’s my own body mind soul and I’m happiest around others with my views. I feel safe on this side I know why. But then I see this video today. And I view is as gods words to me and validating my very own thoughts to be right, for me.
Realize there’s nothing wrong with that. Why force something you truly believe and want for who?

@@Docmajor16 So, by your logic, Malcolm X would have been murdered by some other mad lunitc anyways, so may as well have been ordered and carried out by the very religious organization upon whose shoulders he rose to power upon. Sorry, but my mind does not thrive inside of a box like that. There's no reasonable logic in that box. I was a big fan of Muhammad Ali, until I learned how he turned his back on Malcolm. If Islam was the Religious brotherhood it claims to be, Ali, and all of the brothers of Islam, should have been there by Malcolm's side, but they were not. They left him adrift and all alone on a dangerous sea and sent sharks to devour him. Too sad for me to imagine, but it happened.
