Kenya At 50: Where Is Kungu Karumba?

As Kenyans mark fifty years of independence, the children of Kung'u Karumba who was among the Kapenguria six prominent freedom fighters detained by colonial government are still seeking answers to the disappearance of their father forty years ago. Karumba left Nairobi on the 13th of October 1974 for Jinja in Uganda, never to be seen again. Alex Chamwada visited Karumba's eldest son in Kiserian and here is his story.
