A lot of people does not know about the V-Rally franchise because it wasn't launched as a new Need for Speed game, just as V-Rally, in Europe. Only V-Rally 2 included ''Need for Speed'' in the title of it in all regions.
Somehow in different legions, the reason the title name "Need For Speed: V-Rally" is actually that Electronic Arts, which make the works of the Need For Speed series, had published the Infogrames' (now Atari Games) V-Rally. Otherwise, Eden Studios' V-Rally 2 was also titled as "Test Drive: V-Rally 2" by Infogrames in the Dreamcast version.
There was also Motor City Online (formerly known as Need for Speed: Motor City). Need for Speed 64 for Nintendo 64 canceled and altered into Beetle Adventure Racing (and HSV Adventure Racing). Need for Speed: Edge is forgotten / not known by many.

ByoNemesis The story we wanted is like Most Wanted and Carbon. Dealing with the bastard who set you up and finally get what they deserved. In Most Wanted, you got set up by some punk who envy of you and one of the cop wants you taken down for what you're doing and Carbon, the guy you trust framed you and do the same just for money. Make the other thing you're thief and you have to come back to make it right. This thing motivated me to play the game. I played Payback too. I enjoy it but I concern about story. Why Lina set up the wohle gang? The house want that car for what? and Marcus use Tyler just to get his car back? There're gotta more than that. You do the payback but not feel the PAYBACK. It could been better If Lina should let Tyler enters the house and blow it up. Now it can motivated you to seek payback like "Now that cost my friend! Son of a bitch!" or feel like it went too far. Most Wanted feels like you're wanted by the cops and you have to fight them off to get what you belong. While Payback doesn't make you feel like this is for what you did to me. It just... does not feel it.

Cringy stroryline. Clichè plot. Physics like a mobile racing game and most of all... Speedcards. Despite I played it, I gotta say it's the worst thing NFS had done.
Your NFSI is a compacted version to fit all 5 NFS games into one disk. Get the full version, it's much, MUCH better. The soundtrack gives you goosebumps, and the cars not only sound differently, even their shifts sound differently.
I remember all of these, and played every one in the video except the ones past Shift 2 and the super deformed one that was (i think) the nintendo exclusive. Lots of nostalgia over Road & Track Presents The Need For Speed.

Ok undercover is here, makes no sense, own the city and underground rivals, great psp games. Nobody likes shift nor shift 2 and Nitro was a dumpster fire. And also, rivals and payback? Forgotten? Wow.
To be honest, I liked Payback, not because it's a good need for speed game, but because It's one of those modern games with good graphics what can run even on low end pc-s. Need for Speed payback was actually fun, not as fun as other nfs games like Porsche Unleashed, or Most Wanted, but it's a playable game
yeah for you,i have a 2gb ram intel core i3 but my folks are really against the idea of buying a good pc unless i get A+ IN EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SUBJECT. i am asian without my consent.
Got a question, why does Shift and Shift 2 Unleashed was really forgotten in the NFS Community? If i remembered correctly both are pretty good,i mean it got really good graphics, nice physics (at least for me),cool cars, official racing is pretty refreshing since most of NFS Series focused on street racing and the camera options is really good yet people seems to avoid it,for example i've seen a lot of NFS videos on youtube but only very few mention Shift and almost never about Shift 2
You said it. If I want to play NFS I want street/illegal racing and tuning, dealing with cops and that kind of stuff and most importantly, fun over realism. If I want to play a racing game like Shift, there are better options, like Forza. These arent bad games but it is like they arent Need for Speed games. The "feel" of Need for Speed was always in the streets not inside tracks.
I remember havin Nitro as a kid thinkin it would be an Underground type game but for Wii only to find out it was cartoony and the controls were impossible to use😂😂😂took the game back to Gamestop the same day my mom bought it💀
Bro Underground Rivals. As a kid, it took me YEARS to beat with my PSP being taken away at times as well. The EVO could barely make it to 300mph in the Nitrous runs
need for speed rivals is a really underrated game. it might not be fun, but when you play it online... that's where the fun begins! and that's why I love this game and I still play it! and I see a lot of people still playing it.

I never forgot nfs hp because of the sweet memories and the music it played
I played nfs ug rivals on my psp, best nfs on psp in my opinion
for me, i prefer nfs mw 5-1-0 and carbon otc.
I prefer the 3 of them
I played them now for the first time and they are pretty good..
MW 510 and Carbon Own the City were my favorite childhood racing games that I used to play but I didn't even finished both games lol. However, it was pretty good tho
it's also pretty hard to finish 100% tho
NFS: Nitro on the Nintendo ds is still one of my altime favourite games on any platform, still play it semi-regularly
Nfs carbon own the city’s story was amazing... until the end smh
That was really a plot twist...
And of all audiences, you know, kids!
@@KEVINDMASTAH Mick Rodgers died in a race. You might think EX is responsible but the truth is that Rodgers (I'll call Mick's brother by his surname) is the one who organized his murder. The more Mick raced, the more he became a cruel and violent person and everyone hated him. That's when Rodgers contacted Sara and told her he will get rid of him for everyone. The accident was not planned unfortunately. Thus, Rodgers only knew at the end that he killed his own brother for Sara' safety (hence the "violent man" part)
@@KEVINDMASTAH More like I never saw it coming
@@KEVINDMASTAH the first time I suspected Rodgers is when he had a flashback of seeing himself trained by Mick. And I also suspected that Mick digged his own grave at that moment as he was very angry that Rodgers couldn't best the time Mick told him.
It's sad to see need for speed undercover is forgotten, its one of my favourite racing games
The main reason why this game received poorly ratings is because of the game being so rushed and unpolished (especially the driving physics).
@@HeroManNick132 undercover's map feels dull and empty and the "press tab to jump into the race" made the race locations useless.
it's a shit and pointless game.
NFS High Stakes
Yep the best need for speed. One of the few i still actually play
I Loki never knew that there was a Need for speed in 2017 until this video was uploaded.
Soon Heat will be on that list of "Forgotten" titles.
Heat and Shift franchise are the most underrated NFS games of all time
High stakes was the mmy first NFS game, I love it to this day.
these games are pretty nice!
Yes, they are 😁
Undercover too
NFS Rivals is amazing, i loved it when i played the game.
🥰HIGH STAKES🥰... my first NEED
Ya my too back in those days i was only 4 years old
Graphics still look amazing with a new 4K TV. I don't know how is this possible but my TV's resolution upscaling works so good I can get more FPS by playing at a lower resolution.
High stakes was fun because of how broken the physics was making my car go flying it was just so awesome plus u could actually pit the racers as a cop unlike on some editions
Undercover for wii and ps2 is forgotten and I loved it as a child
Thank you for your video, but not all the games are fogotten, for example NFS Undergound Rivals and On The City, is popular between the console gamers, who have PSP. Same situation with NFS Nitro on DS or Wii. NFS Shift and Shift 2, popular between those who like racing simulators. If we are talking about those first Need for Speeds like Porsche Unleashed or HighI general Stakes, they could be called forgotten. In general, video is cool, forced me to take my PSP console and replay all mentioned NFS for this console. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment.. Yea I dont know much about console players, but I can tell you, I really like underground rivals and carbon own the city..
@@TheBossGaming Yes that,s beautiful games, once a saw how my freind played it, what forced me to buy a licesnce on the disc. NFS Undergroeund Rival for me it is some kind of the mix between the NFS Underground and Underground 2. NFS Carbon Own the city, attracks me baecause it is only NFS on PSP which have free-raom mode.
Shift and Shift 2 will never be forgotten since they're the only sim racing NFS have
Need for speed payback is not forgotten
BTW 7:04 dat front wing tho
Rivals is intense it's the only nfs game that does not have a pause
Question how is nfs payback a forgotten game when it just came out a few years ago and people still play it
It's not forgotten, hundreds of people still play it, myself included
Because those hypocrite wanted a story, they had it. Now, they complain about its gameplay and want to forget about it.
@@byonemesis Hypocrites indeed, all the people who say Payback sucks keep forgetting that they were the idiots who first nagged Ghost for a storyline
@@dalelumina3 Exactly my point. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
8:53 Nelson's laugh
Porsche unleashed really looks like a very enjoyable nfs game
It is
Nice boss 🔥🔥
Thank you man 😁
i played nfs nitro when i was 8 and nowadays i sometimes play it with dolphin on my pc
ngl its pretty fun tho
the soundtrack is glorious and it doesnt even appear :(
Tbh i loved nitro, i just didn't have a ps3 and stuff, just a wii
NFS Rally was my favorite rally game on PS1, and NFS Porsche Unleashed was really ahead of its time on PC version. I love this game!
Where Pro Street? Its my lovely nfs
ProStreet was forgotten for a lot of years but now i think it's finally getting the love and respect it deserves,i see a lot of pepople on YT playing and talking about it

I can not believe that they miss out some of the most classic nfs games in that list
What is the point of this video if almost everyone remembers atleast half of those games?
The point is that people rarely play these games.. most of the comments I get are about most wanted, carbon, heat, pro street etc.. but what about these games?
@@TheBossGaming if people say Porsche 2000 is one of the best NFS Games ever how it can be forgotten? Come on...

Underground Rivals on the PSP was my childhood game. Played alot in 2007 and 2008-09
How is payback forgotten
Microtransaction, turbo sound were quite, the protagonists were talking too much IMO
Cringy stroryline. Clichè plot. Physics like a mobile racing game and most of all... Speedcards. Despite I played it, I gotta say it's the worst thing NFS had done.
@@อนิรุตน์กิจสวัสดิ์ Play the other NFS, you'll see.. you will change your mind soon...in any way you want.
Your NFSI is a compacted version to fit all 5 NFS games into one disk. Get the full version, it's much, MUCH better.
The soundtrack gives you goosebumps, and the cars not only sound differently, even their shifts sound differently.
Nitro seems like an nfs game for asphalt players
It also seems like a game that no one wants to play
No offense nitro lovers
I remember all of these, and played every one in the video except the ones past Shift 2 and the super deformed one that was (i think) the nintendo exclusive.
Lots of nostalgia over Road & Track Presents The Need For Speed.
HOT PURSUIT 2 ?????
Its a bit forgotten. That is my favorite NFS, i played after Underground 2.
Forgotten? I played most of the pre 2000 ones during my childhood, and hot damn the nostalgia...it's been a while
They were mostly forgotten by the time Underground showed up 😆.
Wait, why is Payback forgotten?
Or Porsche Unleashed xD
Porsche Unleashed isn't that forgotten, but the PSX version is a bit less famous.
@@thezig2078 i even forgot that Porsche Unleashed existed. But payback?

Somebody who has the game?

Ok undercover is here, makes no sense, own the city and underground rivals, great psp games. Nobody likes shift nor shift 2 and Nitro was a dumpster fire. And also, rivals and payback? Forgotten? Wow.

To be honest, I liked Payback, not because it's a good need for speed game, but because It's one of those modern games with good graphics what can run even on low end pc-s. Need for Speed payback was actually fun, not as fun as other nfs games like Porsche Unleashed, or Most Wanted, but it's a playable game

I still remember NFS Porche and still playing in 2020
That nfs rally looks like you're driving a 300hp forklift with the handling.
I will never forget NFS Nitro and Underground Rivals or Carbon: Own The City, and NFS Rivals was really great I still play it on the PS3
Shift and Shift 2 were forgotten because of Gran Turismo 5 and Forza Motorsport 4 were getting more popular
I remember havin Nitro as a kid thinkin it would be an Underground type game but for Wii only to find out it was cartoony and the controls were impossible to use😂😂😂took the game back to Gamestop the same day my mom bought it💀
NFS Payback is actually my favorite NFS Game
*BRUH*
Me too, but not as better as Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon.
I don't know why everyone forgot the shift sequel, those games were a fresh and unique traumatic experience
tbh, i played those forgotten NFS games. The only Forgotten Nfs games i like was Undergroud Rivals, Carbon own the city and Nitro
Lol another NFS HP 2010 reboot wirh different name, map and cars. If we talk about the PC version how buggy it was and the cool stuff was on the consoles just like NFS HP 2010.
I actually still have my nfs shift I loved that game, and I still actually play rivals good old days... but alot I didn't even know existed I feel I have failed as a nfs fan lol
Shift would've been a much better game if only car physics were done properly. Honestly "sliding" car feeling made the game unplayable for me on car view camera.
They went too far with the physics in that game.
Finally someone who remembers vrally 😂
Rivals was awesome, and there are still many players playing it even in 2020
