I fully believe this level was a really good character moment for Ma Chao as he was willing to put aside his vengeance to do what was necessary for all of humanity
Lol, I never noticed that Ma Teng is on the map in this stage. Generics in the WO series just never seem to register on me unless someone else points it out.
There are some generics that replace a playable character if they are on the field as an ally. Ma Teng is one of those characters, so if you play as Ma Chao than his father takes his role in that battle. Another example is if you play as Yuan Shao when he is on the map as an ally, his oldest son Yuan Tan will replace his father and take his role. Doing this is actually not recommended on harder difficulties since the playable characters as NPCs have better stats than the generics that replace them.
Supreme Captain Ma Chao: I'm mad at you for killing my dad. Ma Teng: Uhh son... I'm right he- Ma Chao: JUSTICE CAO CAO. JUSTICE Cao Cao: But your dads right there...
Ma Chao isn't a recommended character in this stage so when you play as him the game normally replaces him with a generic officer with the same army so the algorithm or whatever put Ma Teng (or Hideyori in case of playing as Hideyoshi , Yoshitsugu instead of Mistunari etc) , but he isn't supposed to be here
The thing I really hate about Ma Chao is though he has a hateboner for Cao Cao, he literally has no idea why Wang Yi's so obsessed with him (in fact, he doesn't even seem to be aware she exists). Make him seem kinda like a giant fucking hypocrite.
Because Ma Chao personally did nothing to her husband. Wang Yi's husband was in the army that attacked Ma Chao's army, and he died as a casualty of war. Since it was Ma Chao who led his men, she blames him for it. Cao Cao assassinated MaTeng by tricking him which justifies Ma Chao's want for revenge, Wang Yi is just looking for someone to blame because that's the only thing that drives her to live.

Ma Teng is right fucking there.
Supreme Captain Ma Chao you imbecile.
Supreme Captain Ma Chao: I'm mad at you for killing my dad.
Ma Teng: Uhh son... I'm right he-
Ma Chao: JUSTICE CAO CAO. JUSTICE
Cao Cao: But your dads right there...
Memory Conundrum
I wonder if any of the goofier big star weapons can actually clip through cao cao in that ending cutscene
Ma Teng never actually dies in WO world right? In WO2, Ma Chao, Ma Dai and Ma Teng joined Wu at Yang Ping Gate
No one dies in the WO world. Never for good anyways.
When you died, someone will go to the past and prevent that

do you prefer woU3 or woU4?
Its BS that Ma Chao family brought back to life( Ma Teng & Ma Tie) while Wang Yi family still stay dead.
Ma Teng was revived thanks to Orochi, so Cao Cao did kill him
I always laught at this scenario drama beacause ****** MA TENG is right there, alive and well!! Its funny, but it really ruins the mood of the stage.
I think the dead ones were revived or have their lives extended thanks to Orochi
I though Sima Zhao and Cao Cao don't exist together in history?
I thought Orochi just plucked the people from their highest point in history so that's why everyone exists together

@@SupremeCaptainHWD I love Wang Yi but she needs another angle than just being bloodthirsty for Ma Chao.
