It's just so sad. I love the game, but how can people just be this disrespectful and hateful? Most of the behavior is uncalled for and the players have very right to be pissed off.
Game attracts a certain culture around it, of a "working man" sport, at least it does in the UK. So a lot of people without much invest themselves in this sport. Sadly, that means a lot of them behave rather poorly if their chosen team loses.

In every country where soccer is at least "decently popular", you'll find crowds of 'fans' who are taking the sport way too seriously, to the point that they'll act like primitives when they aren't satisfied. Or act like one when they want to; they don't need a strong, justified reason, as for them, any reason will do.
