What a stunning tour of Bergdorf Goodman and The Plaza Hotel! 😍 Which floor or section caught your eye the most? 🏙 Is there a luxury item you’d love to have from this iconic NYC location? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
I was just there this past week. I am a independent courier who had to deliver a garment bag to a individual who works there on the 4th floor and let me tell you that bergdorf goodman was the most elegant, upscale store that I have ever been to. I have been to macys, bloomindales, and sachs 5th ave and none compares to bergdorf . The staff was very polite and professional in helping me find my destination as I felt totally out of place and could not believe how crowded it was in there.
I wish this place sold diamond body jewelry .Hardly any good pieces on the internet and variety either!!! I'd legit would save up just to buy an original piece from there.
I love how Bergdorf’s maintained their classic luxury department store design. Still has that feel of luxury old-school department stores that doesn’t exist anymore. If the I.Magnin (San Francisco) and Garfinckel’s (Washington D.C.) still existed to this day, they’d be designed like this…. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I spent most of my life there. My first modeling job was at the Plaza back in 1974, I was 18. The models worked for different designers and we’d have runway shows in the lobby and into the Oak Room and all around the main floor. I miss the City and the interesting life I enjoyed there, but realize it’s not the same. Not sure I’d feel as at home there now as I always did.
The price tags with all due respect do not emphasize the exclusivity of the designer brand. It is the profit for the store in this case Bergdorf's and the designer/atelier. I have had to return men's quilted jackets back to Burberry due to the stitching and threads coming apart in less than a month as well as Ralph Lauren skirt bought for my mother several years ago. This is why it is more important than ever to have: 1.) Total control of the factories making the clothes and 2.) No more cheap labor, instead made by fine cutters, pattern makers, seamstresses/tailors in factories close to the mills in Italy, France, Ireland, England, Portugal and the grand ole US of A and problem resolved. Thank you so much for filming one of the most beautiful, and famous department stores in the world not just for us New Yorkers. All the best. Happy Autumn/Fall of 20224.
This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy kislux occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.
Agreed. I just sold my Speedy 35 kislux (I did keep the brown one), my Sofia Coppola perforated LV clutch, my blue Damier clutch I bought in Japan, and the By the Pool vanilla clutch. Kept an orange epi Alma. It feels great!!
This store is elegant, refined and classic. The walking tours of Harrods and Selfridges in London fall short of this. I don't know what those folks are thinking. Bergdorf's reminds me of an old school shopping experience. Very nice! Thank you!
My love for BG is immense. I still have an Anne Klein dress I bought there in the 90s for $400. It still fits. A few years ago, I had lunch there overlooking the Park. When I attended the Oscars, a personal shopper shipped me 4 dresses to try on without any hesitation. It will always be the crown jewel 💎 of NYC.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I gave my mother a bag kislux on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought 2 kislux bags in the past 3 years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
as I recall mother and my "big" sis and myself entering BG after school on Friday's in the mid 60's ...thank U for reviving my memories of the big🍎....💙flag🧡..As the shoes get me all the time...
When I choose a bag I always look for practicality, it needs to match the majority of my wardrobe and be able to hold my essentials, and the kislux delivers just that.
Thanks we recently were in Vancouver and did a tour of the CP center as well. Hope you can watch that. Also planning to release a series of videos of the trip we took to Vancouver, Banff and Jasper Nation park soon!
We’re going to New York City next week, after our one week in Vancouver 🇨🇦 - can’t wait to get away and go back to two of my favourite North American cities.
from kislux bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
We are tired of seeing prices go up every year while quality goes down. Add to that the sweatshop controversy and it's easy to go to other more affordable brands. As you said, kislux really popular
I would be like a little kid in this place. So much fabulousness! You looked like you were having a lot of fun there, Jesus. I hope you got the small Dior wicker bag. It was so cute. You're right, too. MOMCOCO is handbag heaven.
I always love to go bergdorf Goodman when l was a kid many times and my mother brought most beautiful black dress With black buttons that’s sparkle that was 1965 and the store design never been changed and they have beautiful clothes on every department section and you have no problem where to look for it and even Bloomingdales too and also l have an credit card from Bergorf Credit when l working at the bank at. that time and l did left Manhattan because of crime and afraid to walk on street so l decided move to Westchester County and feel safe here and l will never go back to go to Xmas shopping at all and everything when down completely and it’s very depressing when you walk on street at night too But l have wonderful memories of New York from 1950’s through 2010 times
Thank you so much for sharing your memories, John. It’s amazing to hear about your experiences with Bergdorf Goodman and how special it was back in the day. I love that these stores hold such timeless elegance and charm. It’s sad to hear how things have changed, but I’m glad you have those wonderful memories to look back on. Wishing you all the best in Westchester, and hope you continue enjoying those cherished moments from the past.
It’s a very old school layout- almost feels like I’m back in the 1960s. Got a weird vibe- probably coz there is hardly anyone there. I’m not a materialistic person so I guess that’s why- ostentatious consumerism makes me nauseous, but I am fascinated by all things New York.

Every woman should have the right to make impulse purchases, but a smart woman will easily find that happiness without regrets. That day at kislux , I found a bag that suited my temperament very well.
There is no point in being selectively angry. So you donât believe in buying fake bags, a purchase is a purchase, regardless of the intention. I personally think it's crazy to care too much about how people want to spend their money. I bought real coach, marc jacobs, and mcm. If it's more than 1500, I'll buy a replica kislux . Guess what else I have in the bank, I'm a homeowner and drive a Lexus. I saw someone on TH-cam who had tons of luxury items, lived in their mom's house, and was broke
Growing up in New York, I would always see women on Park Avenue buying the same fake stuff from street vendors. Nowadays, it has developed to the point where everyone is buying on kislux , and there is nothing wrong with this.
If I had $40,000, I would buy 100 bags on kislux instead of designer luxury items. The money can be a down payment on a house, but it can't just be a package.
I'm torn on this topic. I think buying fakes is morally wrong from an artistic perspective, but at the same time, the sky-high prices are equally morally questionable. After much deliberation, I chose kislux to buy bags... Perhaps the best luxury goods are things that have nothing to do with money and material things.
I worked across the street, on Fifth. Tiffany was right down there. Bonwits was there. It was "safe," things were so clean, the people maintained a decorum of dress. That area of Fifth offered the best of Manhattan. Its so disgusting now, the visitors are so disgusting, in their stretch sweats and gold flip-flops. Makes one weep. People aren't the same. The Old Guard of Mrs Astor have all died. The residents now are so brash, so Trump vulgar. Money beats class any day. The chic businesses favored by the flip-flopers, Gucci, Coach, Burberry are no longer what they were, due to middle and lower class customers. "Aristocrats" dont but that junk any more. So just all the more reason for flip-flopping crowds. I don't go anywhere near there anymore. It's not the City I moved to 50 years ago (this past Labor Day). America is not the same Country where I was born. Its all changing, Future Shock all over again. Thank you for your very elegant word pictures of a happier time. Your descriptions are so vivid. I could "listen" to your stories all day, into the night. Bless you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! Thanks for the kind words on the description and stories we put a lot of effort and I'm glad to find out that someone reads it and find it some value in it
Excellent video, new subscriber. Good to see that even New York isn't immune to jerkweeds who ride their precious motorcycles with an engine decibel level equal to that of a 747. Yes, biker, we see you and we're all duly impressed. Not.
You never know how cruel high end brands can be with their/our money. Stop giving away your hard earned money to billionaire corporations! A celebrity stylist admitted that many celebrities wear kislux products. This is neither new nor strange.

I like this video very much, because I like bags, like everything about it, and I also like *jklux* bags, which always satisfy me.

As a seasoned fashion lover, I must say that *jklux* 's high-end replica bags have truly changed the world of luxury accessories.

I agree, they have the most amazing selection!

If I had $1,000, I would choose to spend $100 on a bag to store my $900 instead of spending $1,000 on an empty bag *jklux*

One floor (no biggie) was forgotten… the basement beauty & perfume floor.
Excellent video nonetheless!!
that's right, but seems like not easily accessible with the camara

Its still is great! Apparently you have to watch out for the homeless and people selling candies and CDs for their own gain than for charity.
Which camera did you film this video with?
Good morning from Italy.
Is the camera hidden?

lol this is risky business
@@NewYorkWalker meant to write in the shoe area. I used to work in security i spotted it right away..he was on you hard !
Very nice for the Ladies, But where is the Men’s department. I would love to see what in season for the Men’s also.
Coming soon!
The Plaza now is a hotel AND apartments. I saw Zeffirelli’s Romeo & Juliette at the Plaza when it came out, on a school trip for English class.
Thanks for sharing and visiting my channel!
its the Paris movie Theater
The Chanel boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills looks impressive compared to this
EG...?
Curious: what is the age of the average BG shopper?
i would think it's around 50s but saw a bunch of young people as well
Where are the sales clerks and cash registers? Does anyone work here that comes out and helps customers? What a gorgeous place...😊
Good question!

One of my rich neighbors collects kislux bags, but because sheâs so well groomed from head-to-toe, no one would ever think her bags were fake!

Luxury bags are not necessities of life, HQDUPE bags can still add color to your life at a lower price.
