In Indian we find delicious and different foods within few distance. Indian can't leave without their street food. And I think there is no country in the world where we find such amount of dishes. India is a foodie country.
India is undoubtedly heaven for vegetarians and non-vegetarians both. We literally have like thousand varieties of veg dishes and hundreds of non-veg dishes. We don't even know the names of many dishes that exists in India. No matter how much you pay for pizzas and burgers but nothing could match the level of deliciousness pani puri, samosa, vada pav, etc have...
Mexico and China definitely deserve to be that high up there

I’ve had Thailand street food which was amazing as well as the street food I had in Hong Kong, but Filipino street food is the most delicious and most diverse I’ve experienced.
I agree i asked the seller of the food in Philippines,why is the food so cheap when its very good,the seller said they dont cook to much ingredients thats why its cheap,i was suprise.

How do people avoid getting sick eating street food? Do you just go in head first..get a stomach bug then after that you are good to eat all the food? I’ve just heard so many stories of people getting food poisoning.

I am very disappointed that this guide excluded the Philippines; I actually wonder why. There's no way a tour guide story can end without mentioning the Phillipines; the story will be rendered incomplete considering the fact that the Philippines is one of the major street food destinations of the world. I call upon the maker of this story to revise their work and include the Philippines please!

Its shame to see Singapore in the list and not mention mother Malaysia. I had amazing food when I visited Malaysia which is much more authentic and affordable than that in Singapore.

China has some of the most diverse and delicious street food. That said, I would advise you to take a food tour or go with a local who can show you where the best quality food stalls are. Good news is that food safety in China has improved tremendously in the past few years :)

Japan has amazing cuisine, but their streetfoods do not trump many of the countries mentioned here. Thailand, and Singapore have street food culture that are relevant to tourism and local cultures. I think Japan is best represented by gyudon and ramen shops and not by their yakitoris and other street foods. Also, in terms of China, the food safety is really a big question. You don't know if the pork you are eating is actually pork. Taipei is still better than Hong Kong or Beijing in my opinion.
