That actually sounds like a fucking awesome memory to look back on, and think about. For comfort, or whatever. It just sounds like a good time as a kid. Love it.
I really hope 2024 brings you so many more followers. This channel is horribly underrated, the production quality is absolutely amazing. I appreciate the intro, the information displayed next to the box art, all of it. Looking forward to many more videos.
Thank you for the kind words! The channel has been a good excuse to go back and play through some old games and interact with one of my favorite hobbies.
God this game brings back so many memories for me. I remeber there was a demo for some ninja game that came on my disc that i spent way to many hours playing. Thank you for this, great drive down memory lane!
Great review! Used to play this all the time with friends when I was like 12 in the late 90s and still have it on PS1 after I re-bought it about 11 years ago. It definitely could've been better and hasn't aged well but the nostalgia for it is still strong for me. I've watched all your game reviews, keep up the amazing work man!
Every so often I will remember some random game I played in my youth and do a TH-cam search to seek if anyone had covered it, and I'm happy to see you not only covered this but many other games I had also forgotten about! I really dig your comfortable laid back style. Easy sub! Btw, is that a Fender Jaguar hanging on your wall? It looks like that model with the slightly varied shape from a normal Jaguar but I can't think of its name right now
Happy this channel just randomly showed up on my feed. Amazing quality in the videos. I remember playing this game during all nighters with friends back during summer vacation.
I really wish this got a remaster for todays 4k graphics with a bit of updated features or abilities/extra ones, would love to see it again, was so sad the original did not keep all the characters in the sequel, was a lot of potential for Lore and update expansions with new characters and enemies
Played it through with a friend at his house (I was/am a Saturn owner) back in the day. Never liked brawlers; repetitive but we still managed to squeeze fun out of this one. Short and sweet and difficulty felt about right for two kids. Probably a 7/10 for me if we're rating (from memory). I'd say that's decent praise for coming from someone not a fan of the genre. Not about to replay it though.
I did like the soundtrack. I got this game for Christmas of 97 but never played it much, I'm almost sure I never even made it past the first boss until doing this video. I was bad about that as a kid, also happened with Alien Trilogy, G-Police, and Colony Wars. But I'll get to them eventually, lol.
This game brought back so many memories. Thank you for sharing this! you are honestly the only person I know who uploaded this review, Thank you again from the bottom of my heart
You know I have heard about a youtuber named daetrix is making a show called the rise of the last dragon animated series based on the last dragon movie from 1985 it's kinda like fighting force but it's a different story
Huge beat em up junkie but really disappointed in fighting Force. My bro and I complete it in oen night and didn't even bother playing the others characters. Fighting force felt sluggish, the moves were lack luster, the bosses are boring. Die hard arcade is a much better 3D beat em up.
I played through this whole game in one night on the N64 back in 1998 while all of my friends slept the rest of the night and I stayed up.
Good times ❤

I couldn’t rest until I got past the first level. After that I committed all my time into beating that game 😂
When i was a kid me and my mothet beat this game so many times was so fun
@@mrboston6555 that's awesome 😀

Thanks for the kind words! That is a Jazzmaster, offset body design similar to the Jaguar.
One of the better multiplayer games on PS1 still. Had a lot of fun beating it with my brother as a kid.

I haven't played the second game yet but hope to make a video eventually.
@flizzzipper I won't spoil it for you but you'll see what I mean when you do play it
2024 will treat this channel with the exposure it deserves. Keep up the great work brotha! Classic game, and an amazing video.
Thank you!

Looks like Sega may be moving forward with the Fighting Force look for a new Streets game going by what we saw with the Game Awards Sega teaser!
That was an exciting teaser for us Sega fans. Hopefully they can deliver.
Hell yeah, been waiting for this one!
It is funny somehow in Japan ver Hawk/Mace can not use infinity grab,knee/slap only 4 times and enemy will fall back to ground
It's strange that it was allowed in the US retail release, not surprising that it was changed in another release.

What a great review.... Well played and well understood. Coherent and pleasant. No notes. 😂❤️
Thank you!
Have you played Fighting Force 2 ? I thought the game was great
I haven't yet, but I do have the game. I plan on giving it a shot eventually.
@@flizzzipper Nice! If or when you do, hope you'll like it as much as i did!

I really want to play Die Hard Arcade. I'm going to have to pick it up soon.
I mean Sega is possibly the king of beat em ups. So ofcourse DieHard Arcade would smoke this
Lol also my childhood
