Good morning, Addison! With none of my 2025 picks and some relatively thin WR depth, I'm considering trying to work a deal to send JT for DJM, Brob, Pollard. My only concern is trying to find the right piece to add to JT to make this deal work. If I can make this deal work with minimal damage elsewhere, my RB and WR room would become... ETN, BRob, Pollard, Chubb, Hubbard, Roschon, Wright + AJB, Devonta, DJM, BTJ, Addison, Ridley This would give me enough confidence to make it to the playoffs and have a strong chance going forward. Addressing the QB 2 issue long term is the harder situation.
Great advice as always, Addison! You talked about packaging a rookie WR like Adonai or Legette with a 2nd to get Pittman as a contender. Would you offer Keon & a 3rd? Or is Keon more of a hold compared to those other rookies? I'm pretty stacked at WR but dealing with some injuries (Tyreek, Davante, DK, Kupp, Devonta Smith, Kirk, Mike Williams, Keon, Franklin & Corley).
I’m down to do that, but with this team of WRs, I don’t know if Pittman helps you unless you’re then able to package him with another guy for a better WR again. Adding him feels synonymous to guys like Smith, Kirk, Adams a little right now - it’s a lot of floor and not much ceiling. No, All Play is an actual stat that shows how you would’ve done against everyone every week. From what I’ve been told, it’s not on Sleeper like it is MFL

Now have hurts, lawrence, breece, Conner, aiyuk, flowers, dell, Johnson, dj moore, and Engram as starters with really only Downs and justice hill as guys i feel safe using to fill in in a new 12 team SF .5 TEP dynasty league. Roster feels good but they all seem to hit different weeks (or Aiyuks case, not at all yet) and we're only averaging 125 points a game. What is the strategy at RB then? I have Bucky Irving, Ray Davis, Kimane Vidal and Perine. I’m considering selling some WRs for RBs, but confused on how to approach.
RBs are last to figure out because they’re the least valuable position and players to buy. You can buy cheap production when you’re ready to compete, or draft rookies the the first round too.

You have to also realize that there is only one thing that matters in all fantasy football. Winning a championship. If you make trades that seem "unnecessary" but you win a ship then nothing matters. You did what matters most in Fantasy football, win. You might as well ensure that you're a big contender instead of "hoping" you have a good shot year in and year out. Better to have won one than have almost won 5.
You have to also realize that if you make trades that seem unnecessary and you don’t win, that you probably just screwed yourself more for future championships. I’d rather sacrifice 5 years to win multiple times in short timeframe than win once and never win again for 10 years.
I’ve already sold Mason for a ‘25 2nd Thoughts on trading London + Chase brown or Braelon for Puka? Obviously I like all the guys I drafted but it feels like getting Puka is a no brainer and also aligns with my tank this year
As a rebuilder, I'm somehow 4-1 in a 14 team league, but my potential points for has me projecting towards the 1.05 right now. I thought I would be way worse, but I'm not being fooled by the success. I have my 2025 1st along with a mid/late 2025 1st. How would you go about trying to pry away the projected 1.01 if they know they are rebuilding? Any strategies on how to make that work? BTW, my points should start dropping as I just traded Mason and Rice just went down for me too...
Not so much strategies, just that I don’t know if it’s worth it haha. You’re also playing the game of projecting the 1.01 onto that team. He/she could win once or twice and now it’s 1.02 or 1.03 and you overpaid for not even the best pick. It’s just hard to do right now, better off keeping your picks.

He's full win now mode so his only good young assets are Brooks and JJ McCarthy. Everyone else is probably late 20s or early 30s. Maybe Justin Fields, but I don't think he'll send fields since he's currently his best QB in a superflex format
Sleeper I guess doesn’t have that stat readily available like MFL does (I only play on MFL). You could manually count it up over the last four weeks, just count how many teams you would’ve lost to each week and if that number is less than 20, or even more ideally less than 15 right now, you’re good!
I believe my dynasty team is stuck in the middle but more of the rebuilding side. I have a lot of youth but I don’t have a solid RB2 yet. I’m looking at your roster and I want to burn it to the ground and start again. Everyone is for sale, and I mean everyone. You should not have Adams or McLaurin on your team by the end of the month. I’d look to sell Bijan for a haul, and I’d consider selling Flowers, Jameson, and Ferguson too.

The most ideal trades here would be: Flowers and Adams for Rice/Puka Jameson and McLaurin for Waddle/Aiyuk Bijan for Nico/AJB Then maybe you can move McConkey or Coleman for a RB like Monty or Brob. Sell Zamir White for literally anything, a 3rd if you can get it. If JT is out, sell Sermon for two 3rds or maybe a 2nd. So now your roster is loaded at WR with young, valuable assets and you can start building your RB room back up with rookies or buy a cheap vet next year for a 2nd.
What if you have a contending team but are 2-6 because you have CMC, Puka, and TJ? You also have disappointments like Wilson and Aiyuk. And you have the bonehead A Richardson. On top of this, I have Ceedee, Gibbs, Murray, and Love. When this roster is healthy, it's a contender. Right now it's a mess. Don't know what to do.

DJM would definitely be on the block, and then Conner would also go. Selling Breece would just be dependent on what you would get for him.

I think it would be nearly impossible to buy the 1.01 from a team that knows they’re getting the 1.01
