Had 4 of each revised dual, a couple moxen, a gradable Beta Time Walk - too much to list. i remember I got a box of Italian Legends for my B-Day one year (prob 95/95). I ordered it out of the back of the Scrye Magazine where they had ads. I think it was $238, which was a good deal even at the time. I got a Tabernacle and an Abyss, but no Moat which was what I really wanted. I ended up buying one later. I cant remember too much other stuff I got. I know I had an Urborg, cuz its one of my favorite artworks in MTG, and the Italian one has deeper and richer coloring. It was an awesome birthday!!! I think the most expensive cards I have are a Collector's Edition Wheel Of Fortune which I should get graded as the corners are mint and the gold on the back isnt faded, and I have a Plateau in similar condition.

Same with my 60 dollar Vampiric Tutor from Eternal Masters, and my 52 dollars white boards playec Vampiric Tutor. And the Post Office mangled my Amonkhet Invocation Daze, and then gave me the 1 finger salute about the situation
Only BGS graded card I have is a 9.0 Beta Clone. I just have always loved that card and wanted to own one. I got it about 4 years ago and paid $40 on ebay for it. Which I'm glad I did cause I think it's tripled in price now at least!

what sucks is when I was in eighth grade and just started playing, the person who taught me gave me a random box of cards that had a Gaea's Cradle, two Lion's Eye Diamonds, and I think 3 or 4 Helm of Obedience, and now I have no idea what happened to them. Always thought they were junk cards until I saw the value.
I started in Revised, but even then it was a treat to see A/B/L stuff. We would get excited when someone came in to the store (RIP Crazy Eddie's Comics, Hammond, IN) will even just commons and uncommons to trade. We all wanted to have all Beta/Unlimited commons and lands in our decks.
Aside from the Jeweled Lotus I was lucky enough to pull, my two favorite cards in my collection are Gaea's Cradle and my Sliver Queen! Slivers was my first deck when I started playing magic so very sentimental to me!
Really love that Scrab God is tight. I feel my best got so far is my Lilliana DREADHORDE General Stained Glass. But I love my Mana Drain + Crypt as well. Non are graded tho.

Nice collection man, I just bought $500 worth of foiled etched commander legends about 100 cards or so. . I know they all tanked, but this is post tank, so one assumes it's a good time. I held off, Didn't on the Lotus or war room. But I still like them. The etched are going for a steal, So happy. Also bought Land tax and a few other treats above and beyond my etched foil bug buy.
Reserved list or not anything that gets old and is from decades ago will go up in value. The cards are from a different time, different card stock, ink and they are masterpieces in their own right. Even the non reserved list cards from 25+ years ago, well another 25+ years they will have gone up in value! A reprint will never have the same value as really old cards!
I don’t get BGS centring scores. If that Stone Throwing Devils is a 9 centring then what’s an 8? I only say this because I have the same thing on a card which has the same off centring.

As recently as 2007, you could still get a box of Italian Legends and sets of intl. Collector's Edition for really cheap prices online.
