Marie- It's memorial day in the US and I wanted to tell you how grateful i am for your D-day tours. That was a wonderful tribute to the soldiers and another demonstration of your warm heart. Thank you. Love from Oklahoma
What a great video Marie 👍 It looked like you had such a wonderful time. Sorry it was so hot and you were disappointed in your lunch. Hopefully the Motor Show made up for the disappointment 🙏 I can't wait for your next video 🥰 Take care and stay safe 🤗
That was a fun video Marie! (I hope you don't get any ideas - Please keep all 4 of your tires on the ground while driving!) Glad you all had a good time! 95˚, yes that's pretty hot!!! 😥 :0) 🐺
Hello Miss Marie !!! I was able to visit Germany for 10 Days many years Ago. Where I was able to ride the ferry boat up & Down the Rhine And visit many towns & shops it was Great Fun Indeed.😀😀😀 Still Subscribed, like button Illuminated
You had a packed day. I'm glad you had fun with your Mom. I hope you go back to Germany they have some wonderful food.😃 Looking forward to the next adventure. Never a dull moment.
There is a Monster Truck Jam that tours the US. In my city, they did the show indoors in the hockey arena that holds about 19,000. The ice was well covered with thick boards, tarps and tons of dirt. It was incredibly loud and all spectators were required to wear ear protection.
You know, I agree, next time shoot for sausages from that market that looked so delicious :} ! I thought the German town looked lovely and the market seemed to be fun too. I'm glad they had a French menu! That is much like El Paso, Texas, where all our menus were in English and Spanish. Wow, that car and truck show and driving display was really fun to see, and what fun for you to get that picture with the father-son stunt team! I am so glad you are able to enjoy these trips with your mom, and she looks to be having lots of fun doing that with you. I know my chief joy these days in my life is going places or spending time with my granddaughter 💕! Your videos are simply outstanding Marie . . . so enjoyable, I love them! Thank you sooo much!
So glad you enjoyed the truck show, I hope your mom enjoyed it also. You should try to see a truck show that is held in a larger place, like a stadium, those are really amazing and very exciting. To get the real experience of eating, you need to try things you have never eaten before. If the restaurant has a special of the day, that is what you should try. Great video. Can I suggest that you try to find a place having a Rodeo, I think you'll enjoy that. You can wear your cowgirl hat!
Marie I only want to say I really like how you put together/edit your videos. It’s not like all about you. You give us your true prospective and let us come along on your adventure.
I have been to motor shows like that. They are fun. I agree with you, when you are in a new place you really should try new foods. I really liked the German town. Looking forward to your next adventure
Fantastic video as always! I find that when it comes to heat in Europe, the best thing to do is to go north or to go up in elevation. Both will be cooler. Obviously, that isn't always possible, but it was great seeing you get into Germany. If ever there were a place in Germany that I think you need to go and explore, it's Chiemsee Castle. It'll take you all day to get there, but it's worth it. You have to take a boat ride out to it, and it's magnificent. If you're in that area, I'd also recommend Berchtesgaden and a tour of the Eagle's Nest nearby. Something much closer to you is Heidelberg and a ride on the incline train to the castle. Then explore that castle. You'll see an absolutely enormous wine barrel there. Lots of fascinating places to see and explore. Of course, you could always explore lesser-known areas in France with higher elevations so you can be cooler in the Summer. I'm sorry that the food you had in Germany wasn't as good as you'd hoped. Thank you for taking the time to go on these adventures to share them with all of us.
This starts off pretty interesting with the dude playing some music from the Andes. They usually handle various instruments at once, or at different times, but always more than one! Oh boy hahaha wasn't expecting him there. It just shows how international everything has become. Cool! Well I think you were expecting too much of German cuisine. It's not very sophisticated, unlike French cuisine. I feel the same about it, nothing really special. Other than that this made me wanna go back to Germany for a while, I guess I miss some of it. Hey the show was cool as hell, for such a small space to do all that, and also being family driven business, WOW! Great one. Another enjoyable video Marie, you don't disappoint! Much love

Freiburg ( the city in the video, in the southern Baden region of the state Baden-Württemberg in Germany ) is not that far away from the alsace region. But you can't compare that to whole Germany. The north for example is completely different. Like alsace and the Bretagne for example. I live not far away from Freiburg ( in the lovely southern black forest ) and I like the French and also Swiss influence in my area ( the Swiss and the French borders are 30-45 min away ).
8 months ago. I still have to tell you some facts. I have a couple of friends from Germany. They are hard core people that believe in freedom. Yes the food may not be to par but their taste in beer is phenomenal . I know they wouldn't want to leave their homeland but do love the American Biker Lifestyle. , No that doesn't mean, outlaw bikers are or have been presumed in this message.
That food in Freiburg looked a little poor. I have always had good food in Hamburg but that's my only experience of Germany and German food. I have always had good food in France, Italy and Spain.
Bonjour Marie! So, it seems you were disappointed only in that you've had it (or something similar) before, and not that it wasn't good. I would've went for a variety of sausages (and not the one you got) like what you showed from the market, so I'm glad that you intend to go back and get some of those! The food at your lunch all looked good, I especially liked the look of the salad. Yes, beer soup is odd and I'm not a fan (nor of beer in general.) The car show is one of those things that it's fine to go to once, but any more it's kinda boring. I had to laugh that the cars and guys in yellow were sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink, but the guys in green (that you had the photo with) were sponsored by a competitor, Monster Energy Drink. Were the guys in green staff of the event location and not part of the touring company in yellow? Thanks for sharing! Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
So good to see my two favorite beautiful travelers! Sorry the food was a disappointment Marie. I think that was the biggest pretzel I've ever seen. From the looks of it, French bakeries are much better than German bakeries. I wouldn't have expected you and your Mom to go to a car/truck show. So nice that you got a picture as a memory.

Hallo Marie & Familie 🇩🇪🥨🚲💐 It's Good to see you both doing so well & discovering all the delights that these enchanted towns have to offer. There's no need to be so disappointed with the food , it's only the first time there's plenty more dishes & yummy desserts , you just have to find your favourite one, German cuisine may not meet the high expectations being french your used to , but it does differ from region to region , next time try a Sauerbraten which is more flavourful with it's mixing of wine, spices & herbs in a marinated meat or the popular Currywurst Sausages you hear so much about there, your large pretzel seemed okay not to sure about the beer soup kinda weird,I don't wanna knock it having not tried it but I guess you have to give a try, Germany isn't best known for it's food anyway more for it's Beer along with the classical composers & it's engineering feats among other things, every country brings something different to the table like you know, they make up for it in different ways. During your look around I didn't expect there to be many bicycle's,it reminded me for a moment of being in Amsterdam which maybe your cycle around those windmills someday, along with the trams & lack of cars there they do like going green in Germany. The Stunt Show was Thill & professionally executed, those guy's heading through the flames was impressive & that kid was brave for her/his age & has a promising future, the Hulk truck smashed it & if crusher had a ramp it would have been more epic,I like to see what more they could come up with in a big arena ,.💥🚙 It's so awesome you got a sighted photo to go along with a unforgettable day.🤩 It's been another marvelous blog, sorry you have to deal with the heat, don't you have a air conditioning in your car ,I thought it would have been cooler this week according to my meteored app , it's probably a micro climate thing , living over here it changes from one day to the next, if your looking for more monster truck madness there's a big event in London on June 18 & Truck Fest throughout the summer, it's the closest your gonna get to being in the states, I've updated the Frenchtastic playlist for everyone Have a Blessed 🙏 Sunday & safe peaceful memorial holiday to you all 🛡️💟

Nothing like a monster truck, engine noise and a little fire to rev up the day.
