For a French woman, the pictures from the Normandy invasion must be especially emotional seeing all those men from around the world who died liberating her country from the Nazi regime.
It does my heart good to see someone your age so interested in WW2. Thank you. Glad you had fun. Stay well and be safe. By the way my dad was a B-24 pilot who is still alive today at 100 years old.
When my 3 kids were younger, and a few years before they arrived, my wife and I used to decorate like crazy. We made tombstones, we had a smoke machine, we hid speakers outside and played dvd's of "haunted/Halloween" sounds, we had the webbing up all around and we made other decorations as well. Neighbors always made it a point to stop by and complement the work... Used to be fun!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a dang shame you don't have 100K subscribers. Your editing and style is just fantastic. I always look forward to your next videos.
My grandfather fought in WWII. He was a part of artillery detachment attached to the 101st airborne. He arrived D-day plus three. He ended up fighting in the Battle of the bulge and was awarded three bronze stars. Two for valor.
The WW2 museum is a must see for everyone that even gets close to New Orleans. The movie in the big theater is worth the price of admission alone. I live about an hour SW of New Orleans and we go every few years. A little refresher to remember our past and remind us not to repeat what's happened.
Eurasian Carp. Invasive species infesting the Mississippi and tributaries. They taste decent steamed with a sauce, but they are very bony so people consider them a trash fish in the US. People in East Asian love them though.
So, you love Mustangs both on the ground and in the air! I like the Cajun Navy shirt. They did a lot to rescue people after Katrina and other natural disasters.
I noted the kiddos with their plastic pumpkin treat baskets for candy and the costumes were great. Brought back a flood of memories when my children were small. Gators in the morning and spooks at night. Sunrise, jumping fish, bullfrogs, and Mustang heaven. Did you get the VooDoo tour of Nahwlins? You are obviously having a ton of fun! Happy Birthday, Marie. Sno bowls are really sugary sweet, was there King Cake in the bottom? You have to visit 2 other Southern cities: Savannah and Charleston.
I think I said this before but the Mustang car was named after the P-51. I am pretty sure I am right. I really loved the grave stones. I laughed out loud over them.
I'm glad you got to experience an American Halloween. The gators probably come around the cabin because tourists probably feed them, and they associate it with food. I'm glad you got a Cajan Navy shirt they do anything a lot of hurricane relief work, not just in Louisiana but Texas and Mississippi as well.
Love the video! When they were building the WW2 Museum we were able to purchase a brick with my dad’s name and rank on it to honor him and his service, it also helped with the financing of the museum. You definitely got some good advise where to go get a good po-boy, DoMilise’s is one of the best and you can’t go wrong with a snow ball from Hansens. You can tell when a roast beef po-boy is good when the gravy and mayonnaise drips down to your elbows and you use about 10 napkins to clean up. Keep having fun!
I grew up in New Orleans in the 70s and 80s and Halloween wasn't as much of a thing because when it came to costumes we had Mardi Gras. And you went to my favorite place for a poboy!
Wonderful video Marie. 💜 The museum tour was very well done. 🇺🇲🇫🇷 And the poboys in Louisiana are the best. Very cute Halloween costume. Looking forward to the continuing adventure.
I really like how you do your travel videos. So glad you got to drive a Mustang. I hope it was all you wanted it to be. Looking forward to watching the rest of your trip
Such an eventful day! The museum looked really well made and very informative, and that neighborhood looked like an awesome place to celebrate Halloween. I laughed at your contact lenses slowly rotating throughout the night. 😂
We went to the museum at the beginning of October. So much to see. We didn’t get to see it all. Next time. 😎 I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Louisiana. 👍
9:15 my wife's grandpa was B17 co-pilot. They had huge losses. His B17 was shot down by flak over Berlin in April '45. It was his 3rd mission. Luckily they all jumped out except the tail gunner....
My appreciation for you visiting my Nouvelle Orléans. I hope you would pass more good times with us here. A special merci for spotlighting the National WWII Museum. My grand-père fought from D-Day in France until he was captured and tortured in a Nazi pow camp until he was liberated in 1945. My grand-père JC Darby died at 90, but never got to see the museum. S'il vous plaît, revenues dans notre état et partagez notre joie de vivre.
Harley-Davidson Motor cycles was invented in Milwaukee, my home town. The main Harley plan remains in Milwaukee. There is a Harley Davidson museum in Milwaukee.
My dad worked for a guy in the late 60's/early 70's that owned a P-51. One day his boss was showing off and crashed it. No more P-51 and no more William Penn Patrick.
Halloween is such a fun holiday!! But even here, it's slowly going away. There are fewer Trick or Treaters than when I was a kid in the late 80s, and early 90s 😢
We go to that museum every time we are in the area. You should have went to the WWI museum in Kansas City when you where there, it's another great museum. Lived in Nawlins for 14 years. The best city to celibate Halloween in my opinion.
I'll be "almost" in the bayou on Monday. I have to drive to Houston (1100 miles or more). I'm not a city person, but I will be getting some Crawfish Etouffee!! Yes, we do Christmas and Halloween pretty hard.
Halloween has been around for a long time however, the past years has seen costumes and home decorations really become much more elaborate. There are TH-cam videos of people going over the top with fantastic Halloween decorations! Check them out if you have the available time & inclination to see more…
Love me some Domilise's po-boys and Hansen's sno-balls. You're really hitting up some good spots in town. You need way more than a 'few hours' to fully experience the WWII museum, it's that detailed. Tchoupitoulas is pronounced 'Chop-eh-too-lus'. Too bad you missed on seeing the 'Ghost Manor' uptown in the Garden District. It puts on a heck of a show with music, animatronics, animation, etc. Glad you had fun at Halloween though.
Bonjour Marie! I think the only things you haven't tried as of these videos are New Orleans beignets (yes, I'm sure you've had your share of beignets before though,) and Crawfish/Crawdads like straight up whole crawfish out of a bucket. Halloween is a big deal in many areas, and that neighborhood looked amazing. I love the guy being abducted by an Alien partial blowup costume, so funny! The WW2 museum looked awesome, must see! It mentioned the Arsenal of Democracy, and Detroit, Michigan (my area) was considered the cornerstone of that arsenal and really was key in manufacturing so many things for the war. Glad you are having an awesome time and great weather! Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
I must visit The WW2 Museum someday. I love New Orleans but have only been there for Mardi Gras. If you want to see more Mustangs (P-51s) visit Dayton, Ohio. It’s not a very tourist-oriented area but the Museum of the US Air Force has aircraft from the dawn of aviation to the present day.
You are pretty much living in America Maria linda. You should experience Day Of The Dead in Mexico. It's like Holloween only 10 times bigger. If you've ever seen Coco that is a small glimpse of Day Of The Dead where we don't mourne the dead but celebrate the time we had with them.
Looks like a really awesome place. I have been inside of a B17 a B24 and B25 and have been over flown by a P51. Next time you are in Boston you need to go to the Collings Foundation living history museum in Stow MA.
Over the years I have sent frequent checks to support the World War 2 museum. My name sake Uncle was a gunner on a B-17 bomber. The bomber had a 10 man crew. They flew from the UK to bomb Nazi targets. The B-17 was shot down on its first mission February 22, 1944. The entire crew died.
Barqs is my favourite rootbeer. I discovered it in New Orleans' French Quarter. Never seen it in bottles though. Show me you love Mustangs without telling me you love Mustangs.
I'm not a fan of Bourbon Street or teb French Quarter in general at night. It's also really touristy. Uptown, where my mom's from is more my pace. Parts of the CBD are fun, like the museum you went to. The aquarium is there too. I love Prytania Theater in Uptown. My mom used to work there a long time ago. It ahs a unique look, and they show old movies sometimes, which is rare in the US. I'm only about 50 mins away. I love NOLA, but the infrastructure issues discourage me from actually living there. Visiting is awesome.
While enjoying your video I was constantly hearing "Mustang Sally" in my brain! I tried "Mustang Marie" but lost the rhyme! Wilson Pickett would be proud anyhoo!
Marie, Mustangs are VERY common cars in the US, as you might have noticed. My first car was a Mustang. A 1989 LX Hatchback. Piece of Shit car, tbh. Had SOOO many mechanical problems with that car. Everything from the little things like Electric Door Lock Switches all the way up to the Engine and Transmission. I had it for roughly 6½ years. It seemed like it was in the shop more than I actually had it. Now of course the car model has come a long way since the Foxbodys (the '79 to '93 models) but they're still problematic with their driving. They tend to be really squirrely when you take traction control off.
New Orleans is fun, but if you couldn’t stand the heat & humidity in Kansas City this summer, it’s a good thing you visited Louisiana in Oct-Nov. Those bayous aren’t nearly as charming in the dog days of August! 😉😥😰🥵🥵🤬
I would have recommended that you get a muffaletta at Dimartino's but po-boy's are good too. Can't really go wrong with your Halloween costume. Just don't talk to clowns in storm drains.
The WWII Museum is so awesome! There is a show there called "Beyond All Boundaries" that is narrated by Tom Hanks that is just fantastic. Is it still there?
Hmmm, the rules are overall the same. Some traffic lights are different and moving around lanes can be different too. Roads are more spacious, which I appreciate 🙂
I'm not a fan of the deli style sliced roast beef poboys. I like the ones that are more like an actual roast. Parkway has those. Domilise's has good shrimp poboys though.
Thank you for the WW2 museum tour! As an American, I really appreciate that you recognize the sacrifices made by many, from many countries.
She toured one of the American WWII cemeteries in France, I think it was in Normandy, a while ago. It was very touching and well done.
For a French woman, the pictures from the Normandy invasion must be especially emotional seeing all those men from around the world who died liberating her country from the Nazi regime.
check out her Normandy videos
It does my heart good to see someone your age so interested in WW2. Thank you. Glad you had fun. Stay well and be safe. By the way my dad was a B-24 pilot who is still alive today at 100 years old.
Marie styling in the Mustang! 😎
A WONDERFUL VIDEO! 😁 you are making THE MOST of your stay 😉 THANK YOU for sharing it with us! 👍☺

Your comment randomly reminded me of Modern Family, with the 3 kids and all.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a dang shame you don't have 100K subscribers. Your editing and style is just fantastic. I always look forward to your next videos.
Thanks 😊
Driving in a convertible; looks fun!
If you ever plan on coming to Michigan you have to come to the Woodward dream cruise you’d love it mustangs everywhere
Great video. Hope you enjoy the US.
Merci beaucoup Marie!
Au revoir!
Domilise's is my absolute favorite poboy place in New Orleans!! Can't beat the food and the old style Italian grocery atmosphere just seals the deal!!
My grandfather fought in WWII. He was a part of artillery detachment attached to the 101st airborne. He arrived D-day plus three. He ended up fighting in the Battle of the bulge and was awarded three bronze stars. Two for valor.

The MUSIC!! .... OMG, my favorite part of FrenchTastic videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay!!! Thanks 😁😁
Fish jumping was so cool.
Eurasian Carp. Invasive species infesting the Mississippi and tributaries. They taste decent steamed with a sauce, but they are very bony so people consider them a trash fish in the US. People in East Asian love them though.
Spooky season ✌️🇺🇸
I can't believe she ate the whole thing........and still had room for snowball!!!
I love how fascinated you were watching the Snowball be made
24 minutes of me smiling from Marie! Thank you!
So, you love Mustangs both on the ground and in the air!
I like the Cajun Navy shirt. They did a lot to rescue people after Katrina and other natural disasters.
Looks like you are having fun.

I live in Louisiana she fits in perfectly! Great job Marie!
Love the video! When they were building the WW2 Museum we were able to purchase a brick with my dad’s name and rank on it to honor him and his service, it also helped with the financing of the museum. Not a Harley, that was an Indian Motorcycle built in Springfield Mass.
Very cute. You guys are fun! Thanks for sharing your day.
I grew up in New Orleans in the 70s and 80s and Halloween wasn't as much of a thing because when it came to costumes we had Mardi Gras.
And you went to my favorite place for a poboy!
Love your videos. Im glad you're having a great time
Wonderful video Marie. 💜 The museum tour was very well done. 🇺🇲🇫🇷 And the poboys in Louisiana are the best. Very cute Halloween costume. Looking forward to the continuing adventure.
your costume was good. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun and the neighborhood really put on a show
The Cajun Navy are great they save people and animals !
This might be one of your best videos.
Marie, your eyes are freaking me out! I'm having a hard time looking at them. 😮
A snowball is a great way to beat the heat of New Orleans.
I love watching you having fun.
We went to the museum at the beginning of October. So much to see. We didn’t get to see it all. Next time. 😎
I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Louisiana. 👍
It is so cool seeing Marie in her natural habitat, a Mustang! Very fun and interesting video, her smiles say it all.
I’m more happy for you being able to drive your beloved Mustang more than anything. ✌🏻
Awww thanks 😊
I'm glad you're having such a good time. Thanks for letting us tag along.
9:15 my wife's grandpa was B17 co-pilot. They had huge losses. His B17 was shot down by flak over Berlin in April '45. It was his 3rd mission. Luckily they all jumped out except the tail gunner....
A very nice hat tip to the war dogs of WWII, Thank you, I love dogs and those were invaluable to the war effort. They saved a lot of lives.
Marie, you are looking a whole lot more comfortable driving.
My appreciation for you visiting my Nouvelle Orléans. I hope you would pass more good times with us here. A special merci for spotlighting the National WWII Museum. Very cool video. Next Halloween check out the Prisons and hay rides through the woods. Fun season. Thank-you 🙏
OMG! Domilise's was my favorite po-boy place while I was a student at Tulane University.
such fun!
Great museum. Looked like you had a good time at Halloween. Those eyes were great. Fun video.
Harley-Davidson Motor cycles was invented in Milwaukee, my home town. The main Harley plan remains in Milwaukee. There is a Harley Davidson museum in Milwaukee.
You’re in the right place for Halloween 🎃
I hope you were able to see the "unmentioned" adjective to almost every female's Halloween costume at clubs and bars.
You are one of us now dear, time to move here!
My dad worked for a guy in the late 60's/early 70's that owned a P-51. One day his boss was showing off and crashed it. No more P-51 and no more William Penn Patrick.
Nice video!!! If anyone comes to Kansas City I highly recommend the WWI museum among many other attractions
I am VERY glad you are enjoying your visit to my city (New Orleans)!
You couldn't have picked a more fun place to spend Halloween.... New Orleans is just the best place to have some fun... Glad you enjoyed yourself...
You are AMAZING!
Halloween is such a fun holiday!!
But even here, it's slowly going away.
There are fewer Trick or Treaters than when I was a kid in the late 80s, and early 90s 😢

North & South Carolina both have a sizable gator 🐊 population in the Coastal “ Low Country”. The further inland you go the fewer & fewer you find.
I'll be "almost" in the bayou on Monday. I have to drive to Houston (1100 miles or more). I'm not a city person, but I will be getting some Crawfish Etouffee!! Yes, we do Christmas and Halloween pretty hard.
My family went as minions, even our dog had a minion outfit. It was a lot of fun.
Awwww
Halloween has been around for a long time however, the past years has seen costumes and home decorations really become much more elaborate. There are TH-cam videos of people going over the top with fantastic Halloween decorations! Check them out if you have the available time & inclination to see more…
That's really cool that their community is really into Halloween.
I live in a suburb of Cleveland and we had about 8 trick-or-treaters this year.🤷♂️
Oh 😮

Marie isn't sleeping in a hotel. She's sleeping in the Mustang. 😆🚘

Many more videos to come 🥳
Oyster po boys are the best!
Marie, I think those fish are on crystal-meth. 😵💫
Another great vid as always!!
Look up
Boudreaux & Thibodeaux jokes. They are legendary fictional cajun characters. Very funny.
I must visit The WW2 Museum someday. I love New Orleans but have only been there for Mardi Gras.

In your museum you saw a B-17 bomber….you said, “this one is huge”.

We don't care if you get food on your face! That's what napkins are for 😅😅😅😅
Nice Mustang. ;)
Somehow I get the idea that you want a Mustang convertible for Christmas. I'll let Santa know. I'm sure you've been a good girl.
“Drink Barq’s. It’s Good.” Wow! They really stretched their thesaurus and dictionary for THAT Pulitzer level ad copy, huh?
Marie, Mustangs are VERY common cars in the US, as you might have noticed. My first car was a Mustang. A 1989 LX Hatchback. Piece of Shit car, tbh. Had SOOO many mechanical problems with that car. Gators hanging around because people have been feeding them
Did you notice the nictitating membrane on the alligator's eye when it blinked?
Nice video
The WWII Museum is so awesome! There is a show there called "Beyond All Boundaries" that is narrated by Tom Hanks that is just fantastic. Is it still there?
Yes it is! We watched it, it's an excellent movie 🙂
I swear, you only come back to have an excuse to drive a Mustang!
How difficult is it driving in your country then driving here in the usa
Hmmm, the rules are overall the same. Some traffic lights are different and moving around lanes can be different too. Roads are more spacious, which I appreciate 🙂
Why would you not go to the Vieux Carré for Halloween? IT IS AWESOME😮😮
I had a lot of fun at that neighborhood 👻

Sad that gator is used to being fed from the deck.
Just a correction - the graphics at the start of the video says that October 31st was on Wednesday when it was actually *Thursday* this year.
Finally someone paying attention
