I was so stoked to buy the Seiko GMT until I saw one at the dealer. Unfortunately the colors on the blue black bezel do not contrast enough to be appealing to my eye. If they had used red/blue like on their PADI dive watch it would have been a home run to me. Hopefully Seiko will come out with better contrasting bezels on their next gen GMT. But kudos to Seiko for producing an automatic GMT for under $500!

Thank you for a very interesting and on point vid! I own 3 different models of the Casio world timer(so practical and durable), and 3 G Shocks- again, practicality, durability, and coolness! I have a few Islanders and Citizens, all are sub 500$. Actually they are all under 350…

Love the inclusion of a Vostok on the list and especially the 090 case, favorite of the bunch too! Personally, if there was a 6th spot for re-issues, I'd add along the Citizen Orca as a place holder. Besides that those were 5 wonderful choices

Great list, just a note about vostok, the friction of the bezel can easily be adjusted if it's too loose or too tight
