    I really like the dancing. Regardless of fame, Dwayne remembers his tradition.
    However, I disliked the background music from the studio. Rude and/distracting.

    The Samoan's are pretty big people, even their children!
    I remember working at a Daycare and there was a Polynesian family that recently moved straight from Hawaii to Maine and they dropped off their son and let me tell you, that little boy was HUGE! and only 3 years old. He was not at all overweight just really big boned and a bit bigger than the rest of the children. He was super cute though ^_^ i miss him and the rest of the kiddos.

    Australia is in the Southern Pacific Ocean - we have a very large population of Islanders from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Māori, Cook Islanders, Solomon Islands. Many now call Australia Home & being of a very large build - they are tough & make excellent Footballers. It can take upto 3 white Footballers to stop a huge Islander scoring a Try…..it’s like trying to stop a Locomotive.

    I have a feeling some people still think the Polynesian culture/race is a Black/Asian culture/race(based on some comments). It's not, it's unique just like native Americans and Guinea and Australian. There is no close substitute.

    • @christinalynn8143
      @christinalynn8143 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cassxowary Appreciate the recommendation to educate self on the matter. As it is said in the comment, it is intended to depict the found sense of humor, laughter derived from the heart, that there is a certain sense of devotional love toward the bride and groom as it has been shown elsewhere, displayed in the form of dance, human body movement, motions, and facial expressions. The animation of the expressions amusing in a serious reception without being so serious the viewer fails to have a good time, a good experience. Have a nice evening. 🤗

    • @christinalynn8143
      @christinalynn8143 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cassxowary It also seemed to me, imo, the news anchors were caught by a sudden sense of jovial surprise when D.J. The Rock makes center stage for his grand entrance. It doesn't seem in the least they were mocking him or otherwise. Could be there is a divisive nature between your interpretation and mine, my own. Or perhaps, I need to find other television programs, programming to watch so there are no longer 'these types' of petty arguments. Enjoy watching the shows, you choose to watch. 🙂

      I don't think it matters too much to non-polynesians. Polynesian culture is quite diverse. I'm Maori and most of our types of dances aren't really as joyful as the other polynesian dances.

      Brain Fart 😂🙈 you plastic hawaiians need to stop claiming our staff, first of all the rock is african canadian samoan also that cheehoo cheer is originated from samoa it's called the fa'aumu its a chant that we samoans usally use to indimitate our enemys during a warcry and that fire knife dance is also originated from samoa it's called siva afi!*_tattooing also wich represents our identity..so hawaii has pretty much lost their culture due to influence of american lifestyle so you's rely on other pacific islands like samoa to put you guy's on the map when it only come's to culture***im pretty sure your not even a islander as well😑😕 im samoan and i know my roots!!!..so come talk to me when you can hask a coconut first braddah 😂🙈plastic one...
