It kind of is, but you need to keep the Play Store open idling for a while.

I actually figured this out a few months ago, but I didn't know I had to do it multiple times at once to get it fully updated to the latest version. I just had to update my S22U 4 times.

it says that updates are temporarily unavailable. Last update: 1. january 2022.

This is helpfull for guys who try the beta apps since there are times when even after rolling in into beta program you didn't get the features which other guys got

Wow, really important video & info. Have been following you for years here. How long have you been doing the Samsung ones? Definitely started watching you sometime during my Galaxy S5 yrs, maybe before during my S3? I seem to go in spurts when I'm researching or learning set-up for new device or key updates are out.
Amazingly, I'm up to date on this Play Store stuff. Prolly because I check for any Play Store updates at least twice a day. I have a zillion apps but very few set to auto-update since hacks regularly slip through the Google Store.
If you use Samsung phones, Jimmy is the place to come!

my phone is patched (rooted) and i can't upgrade my phone to next andriod version
Why doesn't this update automatically?
For s22 ultra its sitting with march patch. On checking it showed update available t, downloaded twice, but the version remains with march only.
Looks like there were updates to the March but stays with march patch. April comes later I guess.
I too thought I had every thing up to date, nope. Thanks for the reminder, I was on the November update on my S22U.

Susceptible to more Vulnerabilities
Best way to install these updates TURN WI-FI OFF 1ST, THAN UPDATE.
Also, if any app, sys update not going thru, hanging, turn Wi-Fi off if on, if already off turn on than off again & restart phone then proceed to updating.
If that don’t work, clearing cache & data & wipe phone cache partition or network settings can help; but I’d do others before the last steps

I hate the fact that with Samsung, if u don't update once or twice the next time u update u have to repeate multiple time I wish it can just jump you to the latest update the your can with iPhone.

I updated the Google Play System Update the other day on my S23U. It took about 3 reboots to show the new security level (March 2023) coming from February 2023. Not sure why it keeps downloading and rebooting several times until it finally says up to date.
You can find it also under Security and privacy.
My Galaxy A53 is already on March 1 update 🥰
Once i see your video, i immediately checked my phone and its not been update since 1st november 2022!! And i tried to update it but the notification shows Failed to Update. Update are temporary unavailable. Try again later. That is the message. How do i fix it?
And btw, mine is S21 ultra

March 1st must be the latest one. All mine went to that in the video
I noticed sometimes i gotta update more then 1 time for google play software update... like 2 times then its fully installed. Z Fold 4... why is this?

You are right. I had to go through the update and restart process 3 times before my Samsung moved from the Nov 1st update to the latest March update.
