- In this video I talked about how to survive the streets of southside Chicago, give personal stories about how I've became a victim, and some tips on how you can navigate the streets if you are a square.
I am not trying to snitch or anything like that, I'm simply telling my story and giving advice.

Bro, I'm from the Chi too. South Side. You gotta get up from outta there. I love the city. But I couldn't imagine living there again. Noone should have to live there life constantly looking over their shoulder like that. Stay safe.
I agree- Luckly, I moved from the southside of chi long time ago (2006) and never looked back- I live in an affluent neighborhood now---I don't have any reason to go to any hood.
My husband and I had just landed in New Orleans. It was dark but we decided to walk around because I was so excited to explore the French Quarter (it was my very first time there). Anyway, we were walking and looking for St. Ann Street. We couldn't find it so we asked a guy for directions (he looked like he was maybe 26-28). He immediately asked where we were from, my husband said Chicago. Then, the dude said "St. Ann it's this way." and started walking with us like he was showing us where St. Ann street was. IMMEDIATELY, I got a very bad feeling. Like over my WHOLE ENTIRE BODY!!! So I GPS St. Ann street and it was in the opposite direction the dude was taking us!!! So we stopped and told dude, it's in the opposite direction. Before he could respond, a cop was driving by randomly so we yelled to the cop and asked him. The cop confirmed it was the opposite direction too. We looked around after speaking with the cop and the dude was gone. Smh. He was most definitely going to rob or even kill us! He was luring us away from the traffic to do GOD knows what. My intuition saved us! God saved us too by having that cop be right where we needed him.
Why y’all didn’t gps the location in the beginning just asking not be funny or nothing I just be wondering people got these iPhones and other smartphones why ask for directions the phone gets you too the right location I know sometimes gps don’t work in certain areas like I’m from Chicago too and mines don’t work sometimes on lower Wacker drive but for the most part it gets me to my destination
@Thahomie 773 😂😂 facts! In my defense, I was a bit high (weed) and tipsy. Idk why I didn't think of that in the first place. I'm not offended by your question. All love. Sidenote: Lower Wacker is HELL! My husband worked on Wacker Drive and to.pick him up, I would have to drive Lower Wacker. Maaaan, you might as well forget the GPS if you driving down there😂😂💀

Don't never go nowhere, especially somewhere you not from that's known for being fucked up & ask a nigga for nothing, certainly not no damn directions. Have EVERYTHING you need for every part of your trip planned & ready to go. & Stay right where all the tourists are at. Watch videos like this about where you're going, etc
you can survive chicago. even as a white dude. did uber for a few years. tried to stick to the south side as the surge charges were outrageous. there were a few streets that were better guarded than any gated community i had to visit. it only ever got close in the middle of august on those long blocks when everyone is outside. two hundred black folks just staring straight at you is a unique experience. ends with whoever you are picking up or dropping off yelling to get the fuck out of the way. met so many people i never would have met otherwise. oh! have a cheap-shit phone. if you don't have anything to take you aren't worth anyone's time.
